Melody’s POV

“CHEERS,” we raised our frufru drinks together and clink, as we look out over the ocean just barely off shore of the dock. “feel that ocean air and look at the smorgasbord set out in front of us, dear God your too good to me sometimes,” I giggled.

Carla arch’s a brow, “well let’s hope none of them are here for their engagement party or you may cause an issue,” she smirks at me.

I bit my bottom lip and chuckled, “not my problem if the guy can’t keep it in his pants, plus he shouldn’t be looking to score if he’s engaged,” I smiled sweetly at her. Yea she knows, Charlie isn’t that good of a liar, I also know she doesn’t care if I did him, she knows it will never happen again anyway.

She puts her arm around my shoulder, “it’s all good, let him get it out of his system now before the wedding, because once I have him, I’ll kill him over fucking another woman.”
