"Who are you?" His eyes narrowed when he realized he could not escape the cloaked person's grip.

"What is this strength..." He tried to force the cloaked figure off as they lifted the cold end of a gun and placed it on his forehead.

"What do you want? Is it money? I'll give you anything you want," he bargained.

"I don't want anything from you... just your life."

He got a glimpse of the figure's face and froze.

"You? How is this possible? You are nothing but a pet!"

She cocked her gun.

"Where is the Moon Orb?"

Her voice was different, like a totally different person.

His blood ran cold.

"You are the alpha serial killer. How have you managed to hide among us?"

"Ah, you are really the smartest among your crew, aren't you? But you haven't answered my question, so perhaps not as smart as they say."

"You won't get away with this. I don't know how you got in here, but there are guards everywhere. If anything happens to me, you will be hunted and found." He threatened her, and she tried not to laugh.

"Your grandfather died in my very hands. Trust me, I'm not afraid of a little hunt."

She grabbed him by the throat, and he struggled.

"Speak!"

"I don't know."

A bullet pierced his foot, and he screamed.

"You bitch! Someone is gonna hear the shot. Are you not afraid?"

"How do you think I got in here... everyone protecting you beyond that door, I took them all down."

He stopped his struggles, staring at her in fear.

"You still don't get it, do you... where is the Moon Orb? I won't ask a third time."

"I don't know. The Moon Orb is a tool of supreme power. Only the superior alpha wields it. I only know one piece of information leading to it. It's buried in the heart of gold."

"Thank you. You have been very useful." She smiled.

"You're not going to kill me?" he trembled.

"No, you are more useful alive, actually. You are going to help me take the throne."

His eyes widened at what she said.

"Are you crazy? That's treason!" He glared hard at her. "What makes you think I won't betray you? You are nothing but a pet. I don't know how you are doing this, but you will not succeed."

"You still don't get the situation, do you? So let me show you."

Someone barged in—the head guard in charge of protecting him.

"Thank goodness! Get this wench off me!"

A bullet went right through the head guard's head in the middle of unsheathing his sword, and he fell flat on the floor.

The sound of the gunshot deafened Richard, and his heart stopped beating.

"How much of this did you plan?"

"You guys think you actually found me in that library?" she chuckled. "No one must find out about our arrangements, and to make sure you comply, I'll take your head guard with me."

"No!"

She stepped on the leg she shot, and tears came out of his eyes as he groaned in pain.

"Why isn't it healing?"

"Because I make my bullets with a special type of silver that slows down healing while causing agonizing pain."

"Why are you doing this?" he whimpered as she jumped off the bed and grabbed the head guard by his hair, dragging him along with her.

"I told you... I want the throne."

---

She walked through the hallway. Their whispers irritated her.

"I heard she's the new maiden..."

"I heard it's a sham and she's actually a pet, a sacrifice for the alphas' entertainment."

"Really?"

"How pathetic."

She clenched her fist and counted to three before opening her locker.

In the locker sat a note. She opened it, and it read:

"I know who you really are..."

She smirked.

About time. She was getting really bored.

As she shut the locker, her eyes met Richard's.

He was normally a proud creature, being an alpha heir and all, so he kept a straight face like he wasn't bothered.

She noticed his erratic foot tapping. That's what gave him away.

He was scared shitless.

Someone bumped into her from behind, and she fell.

"Oops." Isabella said with her full gang with her now.

Bridget and Marilyn.

"Ohhhhh, look if it isn't the one who tried to force herself on Isabella's boyfriend. The floor looks good on you." Bridget scorned. "You really look better at our feet."

She had to grit her teeth. She felt someone watching her through the crowd.

Her instincts picked up on it quickly, and she stood up and ran after them.

"Did she just ignore you?!" Bridget scoffed in anger.

She ran after their footsteps. She could hear them.

They ran out into the back of the school and into the woods.

She heightened her senses.

"Hera! Increase my vision."

Her wolf responded, and her eyes picked up the figure running through the woods.

She decided to use one of her special gifts.

"Hera, take me there!" she said, and immediately, she appeared behind the running figure. She grabbed them around the neck, choking them until they collided directly against her chest.

"Who sent you?" she asked.

"I know who you are."

"That's the message they want you to know."

"Are you not afraid of death?"

"We have no fear," the figure said as he suddenly poured a liquid into his mouth.

"Then you won't fucking die!" she snapped, squeezing his neck.

She punched him in the back hard enough to make him spit out most of the liquid.

"I'll torture you until you confess," she snarled, ripping off his head wrap.

She tied him around a tree.

"I bet the little poison you've drunk will only knock you out. I'll come back for you."

The man smiled.

"You won't succeed," he grinned.

"On the contrary..."

She held eye contact with him, revealing her wolf's eye.

"I will."

"You will not move until I return."

She left him there and returned back to class.

She was lost in thought as the teacher talked about chemicals and elements.

Who could have sent him?

No one is supposed to know who she really was. She had made sure of that before she infiltrated this academy.

Before she infiltrated the family who sold her off last night.

Before she took the name Dorothy.

Her identity was top secret.

So the person sending those letters was either rage-baiting her or taking a wild guess.

Whichever it was, they were not going to ruin her plan.

She also had to find a way to get Isabella mad.

Everything had still gone as planned, even though it happened in a way she hadn't expected.

Becoming a pet wasn't part of the plan.

Getting the four alphas' attention, however, had been part of it all along.

The ultimate goal was killing the Alpha King, Isabella's father.

And what better way than to get to him through his weak spot... his daughter.

Now, how do you piss off a normal, popular, spoiled brat?

Daniel walked into the class, his lips stained with lipstick, obviously, as Isabella followed behind him.

The teacher didn't dare comment.

She smirked as she stretched her foot out, and Daniel tripped over it, falling on her.

He had stamina, so she caught him by the belt to pull him down, and their lips collided.

She took that opportunity to give Isabella a side glance.

"You piss off a brat by taking what's theirs."

Her angry yell made her push an equally angry-looking Daniel off just as Isabella snapped,

"Oh, I'm going to kill that b*tch!”

"I didn't die last night... shit!" she spat immediately after she woke up.To wake up from being a free-willed omega to a pet was a nightmare. She had bite marks all over her body. Richard had bitten her shoulder.Luke had bitten her thigh, Austin had bitten her arm. She groaned, seeing the faint marks that would probably never heal. The bites of four future alphas. She didn't want to go to school today. Her neck was sore from Daniel's bite the most, the mark so visible even her werewolf healing couldn't cover it by morning. She would have to use makeup on her neck. The door to her bedroom opened, a wide, excited grin on her face that fell into disappointment."Ugh, you're not dead!" she shrieked in anger, grabbing the snake by the neck."Florida, are you crazy... are you trying to kill me?"Florida closed the di

ADHD was the worst. With how terrible her grade had gotten, if she didn't improve soon, her mom would kill her, yet she couldn't stop reading. She felt every thrust, every kiss, every touch like she was the promiscuous female lead in the novel, and it only made her super interested."Control yourself, Dora. You are in the library," she thought to herself, looking everywhere. It was quiet, dark, and almost deserted. Most werewolves didn't read because they didn't have to, but she did because she had no choice.Since she was what they called a "wolf-less freak," you'd think the universe would have been merciful enough to make her brilliant. Her books lay open, diagrams and notes sprawled across the table. She leaned in closer, frowning at the detailed illustration of the
