Chapter 38

Lizzy was sitting in the car next to me and she was turned towards me with an anxious look on her face. I could hardly blame her for that, the last time we were in my parents’ house I was trying to forcibly mark her. I really didn’t want to come here again until Lizzy and I had marked each other but that was before the attacks escalated.

Lizzy and I have been at Adam’s house for around a week and a half now and it was going really well. Lizzy was relaxed and happy, she was like a whole new woman. She still got anxious when I kissed her neck without warning but I was working really hard to regain her trust. I knew we were getting close to marking each other, I could feel the warmth of her feelings for me and they almost matched the intensity of my own feelings.
