Chapter five

      CHAPTER FIVE 

Miranda

 

  The next day,

I was so fucking hungover my head was pounding as I toll on my side.

 Yesterday night the words the Alpha said still echoes in my ears. The Alpha wants to crown that Ace boy as the future Alpha.

  He just said his words without even thinking. 

 If the boy is crowned as the Alpha of the Golden park what then was left for me.

   I remember he used to usually tell me I will one day be crowned as the Luna of the pack and ruled it together with my future Mate, but now everything seems different.

 Last night I couldn’t  bear to stay with them to watch as they  celebrated so I left. They all celebrated the news. They were all happy about it  but I felt no happiness at all.

It was time for school, I pushed  those thoughts out of my head to go  prepare for school, I took my bath, dressed for school and then headed to school.

  When I got to school, I noticed it was quite bustling. Although it used to be so bustling before, today the difference was  quite evident.  Almost all the students were standing at the entrance gate,which was strange. They rarely do that unless someone important is coming. It was as if they were all waiting for an important  person.

I wonder who it is?  I thought to myself.

Back then before the death of my mum I used to usually cause this kind of  crown, but now they don’t  even bother if I exist or not.

  Curious about who they were patiently waiting for, I decided to wait and see who it was.

 Not long ago I noticed the children scream, I stared in their direction only to see Ace.

Ace! That Boy again.

He is at my school.

 He was  the one they  were all waiting for.  Just yesterday I heard he was going to start attending this school and just today he is already getting this kind of attention on his first day of resumption.

 The whole students were all rushing to meet him, They were treating him like they just found their long lost soul.

 “What the heck.” I said under my breath.

 Girls were all crowing him like they've seen their idol.

I snorted before starting to walk away but then I heard Ace called my name.

“Miranda!”

I turned to look at him. “Why are you calling me a bastard?”

I noticed a frown on his face at my words. The students nearby also whispered among themselves but I didn’t  care.

He stared at me annoyed, but I didn't  care how he felt.

I don’t!

Who asked him to call me  in the first place? He could have just acted  like he didn’t  see me and saved himself the trouble but instead he did the opposite.

“Why do you have to be so rude all the time?” Ace said in a grievance tone.

I scoffed in response. “I don’t  have the breath to waste on a bastard like you!” I said before walking away to my class.

 I  walked towards the school cupboard. I wanted to  get some of my notebooks. I was busy searching for the notes when I felt someone at my side. I didn't turn to check who it was because I thought it was Jerry, my best friend.

 But when I heard the unwanted voice, I didn't feel like hearing it at that moment.

 “I’m new here, Can you try showing me around so I can locate my class and also know my way around here.” He said in a quite polite tone.

 I was surprised he followed me here, wasn’t  he supposed to be attending to his fans standing at the gate waiting for him.

I wonder how he managed to bypass them, I remember I usually called for guards then to help me get into a school.

  If not, those students were very persistent and wouldn't let me pass freely.

 Besides, why was he asking me for help?

 What  gave  him the right to think he could ask me for help?

I stared at him with a frown on my face. “I’m busy and even if I’m not I wouldn’t  even bother helping you

Besides, so many students were  following you like you were their gods, why didn’t  you ask any of them for help knowing fully well I wouldn’t  help you?

Or is that you are just looking for trouble cus  I don’t  understand what you want?”

 After saying that I took the books I need for my locker, I was trying to lock it when I heard him say..

“But you are my sister, It's better I took help from you than asking it from an outsider!” He said with a smirk at the corner of his lip.

 Now I’m sure he was really looking for trouble.

“Sister?” I asked  in a mockery tone.

He nodded in agreement.

I chuckled. “Keep dreaming, I can never relate to a bastard who isn’t  sure of his own origin.”

I said and he frowned.

I didn't give him the chance to say anything else. I started walking away from there, After walking forward a while I turned back and noticed he was still standing there.

  He was acting weird.

I turned to continue walking forward  but collided with Evelyn the Beta daughter
