The Queen Mother continued.

“If you didn’t want to have dinner with us,

then why did you come?

I’ve been watching you.

It’s obvious you’re just here to look for trouble.”

I smirked.

These people forget so easily.

Did they think I forgave them?

When my mum died, it was this same Queen Mother

who ordered that she not get a befitting burial.

“Not worth it,” she said.

“She didn’t help the pack.

She didn’t give the Alpha a son.

She doesn’t deserve a grand burial.”

So they buried her like an ordinary person.

Like a curse they wanted to get rid of quickly.

No party.

No expensive casket.

No feast.

No people coming to pay respects.

A Luna’s burial was supposed to be grand.

Food. Drinks. Respect.

But not my mum.

She wasn’t even buried in the Royal Tomb.

They buried her down the mountainside.

That day, they acted like I didn’t exist.

Throwing heartless words at her corpse.

No one even performed the rituals right.

All they did was speak badly about her.

The dining table went quiet again.

I bowed my head.

Chewed my food slowly.

After fighting with them, I felt a little satisfied.

I find joy when I see them restless.

The only reason I hadn’t left the table

was because I wanted to hear what the Alpha had to say.

---

*ACE POV*

The Alpha asked me to come down for dinner.

Said he had something important to announce.

The whole royal family was summoned.

I got to the table early.

Only a few people were there.

Then they started coming in, one after the other.

Not long after, _she_ came.

The Drama Queen.

The first thing she did was shoot me a look.

I noticed her.

That’s why I bowed my head.

I felt her staring at me.

So I stared back.

Her gaze was cold.

Like she wanted to swallow me whole.

Make me disappear.

I know she doesn’t like me.

And I don’t like her either.

But does she always have to be so obvious?

The table was peaceful before she came.

After she came, it was chaos.

Scene after scene.

I was sure she wasn’t here to eat.

She rarely comes to the dining table.

But when she does, she ruins everyone’s mood.

It’s like she enjoys other people’s misfortune.

At first I thought it was because she lost her mum.

But it’s been three months.

And she’s still throwing tantrums.

During the meal, I noticed she was glaring at everyone.

Mostly at my mum.

I don’t know why.

My mum hasn’t done anything wrong.

All she did was have an illegitimate child for the Alpha.

Was that a crime?

The Alpha cleared his throat.

Like he was about to speak.

I noticed Miranda lift her head from her food.

She looked curious.

Maybe that’s why she came.

Because she wasn’t even eating.

Just pushing food around her plate.

---

The Alpha spoke.

“The reason I summoned everyone here today

is to make an announcement.

Some of you may already know.

Others don’t.

I want to announce that

I will be crowning Prince Ace of the Golden Wolf Pack

as the next in line Alpha.

He will be crowned on his birthday next week.

A grand celebration will be held.

The future Alpha will be turning 18 soon.

And then he will be able to shift into his wolf form

and find his fated mate.”

A round of applause.

Everyone clapped in excitement.

Except Miranda.

She looked furious.

Then—

_CRASH!_

The sound of glass smashing echoed through the room.

Miranda.

She knocked the glass off the table on purpose.

“Miranda, are you okay?” Alpha Brian asked, concern in his voice.

She didn’t reply.

Just stood up and walked away.

I stared at her plate.

Still full.

She hadn’t eaten much.

Don’t get me wrong.

It’s not like I care.

I just...

Arrgh.

Why was I even concerned about that brat?

Five Years Later,The moon was full tonight. I stared at myself in the mirror and barely recognized the woman looking back. White dress. Silver Luna crown. The scar on my shoulder was covered by lace, but I could still feel it. Two years ago, a fight had broken out in Blossom Grey Pack and in the process I got hurt. Only to be rescued by Ace again. Life wasn't so peaceful after that day in the hospital, but we defeated every obstacle. And today... We are happy."Luna?" My maid knocked softly. "They’re waiting, Luna."Luna. The word still made my chest ache. Golden Blossom Pack. One pack. One Alpha couple. I took a deep breath and stepped outside. And there he was. Ace. Black suit. Golden eyes. The same jaw that used to clench when he hated me. Now it softened the second he saw me. The whole clearing went quiet. Two hundred wolves from both packs watched, but all I saw was him."You’re late," he murmured when I reached him, his voice rough. Only I could hear the tremb

Hours later. The hospital smelled like antiseptic and rain.Miranda’s hands shook as she pushed open the door to the hospital where Ace was admitted. Her father walked beside her, silent. Inside, Ace sat propped up in bed. Bandages around his ribs. Eyes tired, but sharp. And next to him, standing like a guard dog, was Alpha Brian. The room went still.Ace looked up. His gaze hit Miranda first, then Alpha Derrick. His jaw ticked. “I didn’t expect…” Ace said. He stuttered, voice low, surprise etched on his face. He stared at Miranda, different emotions running through him.His father cleared his throat. “Thanks... thanks for coming.” Miranda couldn’t speak. She just walked to the bed and took Ace’s hand. His fingers were warm. “How... are you feeling now?” she asked.Ace’s thumb brushed over her knuckles. “Wasn’t expecting you to come when my father said so. I thought he was playing pranks on me.” “I would have come earlier if only I was allowed to.” She replied. “Why did yo

Author POV Ace was still locked in the room. The Alpha had refused to let him out. He wanted Ace to reflect on himself. All through the day, Ace hadn’t eaten a single thing. He was injured, his health was bad, and he was running a fever. Yet he still refused to take any treatment. The Alpha was frustrated. He didn’t know what else to do. With a tight jaw, he ordered the guards to summon Ace’s closest friends — Evelyn and Josh. They came the moment the order was given and were led straight into Ace’s room. The sight that greeted them made Evelyn gasp. Ace lay on the bed, pale and drained, but his eyes were stubborn. A tray of untouched medicine sat on the table beside him.“Ace!!” Evelyn rushed forward. Josh immediately pressed a hand to Ace’s forehead and his expression darkened. “He needs to be admitted. He has a high fever,” he said, his voice trembling.Kayla quickly called for t

I asked for my phone and they said it was broken.I was bored. So bored.I decided to go out but then I realized I didn’t know the Blossom grey pack well enough. So I decided to take a walk.  I wore a hoodie and dressed like a normal pack member. No crown. No guards. Just me.I admired their garden. The flowers. The way the people worked on the farms and decorations. Everything looked so peaceful.I walked until the sun got too hot. Tired, I decided to rest under a big mango tree.  The breeze blew through my hair. “Oh,” I whispered to myself. “I’m enjoying this.”Not quite long,I he

Ace POV The day I arrived at Blossom Grey Pack, Alpha Derrick’s face went pale the moment he saw me. Shock,Fury. All of it flashed across his eyes at once. “Ace.” he snapped, storming toward me. “What happened?!” He thought I had hurt Miranda. I could see it in the way his hands clenched at his sides, like he wanted to strangle me right there. I explained everything clearly. Every detail. How the attack happened. How I pulled her out. How I nearly didn’t make it myself. But he didn’t believe me. Not at first. He placed me in custody and ordered his right-hand man, Clark, to investigate. twenty four hours, that’s how long I sat in that cold room waiting. Nothing happens to her._  My guards were behind me, shouting my name.  I didn’t stop.  I skidded to a stop at the edge of the school compound.  Smoke was pouring from the basement windows. Firefighters were dragging hoses, yelling orders.  And I couldn’t feel her.  _Miranda._ I whispered it, like if I said her name loud enough the bond would answer.  Silence.  My worst fear.  I shifted back from my Wolf form, and my guards immediately threw me clothes. I pulled them on without looking.I headed toward where the firefighters were.“Hey! Kid! Yo
