The Alpha's Real Heir

Prologue 

     

    My name is Miranda, I'm 17 yrs old, Daughter of Alpha Brian of Golden wolf pack.My mum died not quite long ago leaving me alone to face the world myself.

 My Dad? He doesn't care about me, Yes  he doesn't he only care about his future heir

  Sometimes he acts like he does but sometimes it's like he doesn't care.

 Like seriously I don't even know the one to believe anymore.

  My Mum was the Luna of the Golden wolf pack, she had ruled with the Alpha  for many  years and in all these years she couldn't give the Alpha a son after she had me.

   In reality my mum was the Luna of the Golden wolf pack but  it wasn't that glamorous like outsiders think of  it.        

   People mocked her behind her back saying she was a wood who couldn't give birth to a son. There was also pressure from the Queen mother, The Alpha mother.

 My father also was tired of her, but acted otherwise.

   On the surface he acts as if he doesn't care but  deep down he wishes he had a son.

   A seer once said my mum wasn't destined to have a male child in this life.

 The  Queen mother, who is my grandmother, kept pestering my Dad to take a second wife that can give birth to a male child that will continue his lineage and the Alpha bloodline.

  And for some reason my Dad never did that, maybe because he was in love with my mum so I thought.

  But it doesn't seem so when a lady came, claiming she had a grown up son for him.

  He accepted her and her son, without even further investigation.

    It once said that my Dad was a womaniser before he became Alpha, so people weren't surprised when a woman came with a son and it happens to be the time when the Queen mother was pressuring him for him to take a second wife who could bear him a son.

 But according to my mum, My Dad cheated with the lady when they were already married.

 The lady was just a maid and seriously I don't even know what my Dad was thinking.

 So many maidens envy my mum's position, they couldn't wait to kick her out of her throne so they can replace her.

 My mum got a disease from only known the moon goddess. The doctor said she wasn't gonna live long anymore but something triggered her and she died even before the date the doctor said.

 She didn't die from the disease she died after hearing the most unimaginable thing  she never  thought would happen.

      That was what the doctor said, I think there was something else to it, my mum was never weakling, she won't die all because her husband cheated on her.

  Although I don't believe it still there was nothing I could do.

     She never thought her husband would cheat on her.

 The boy in particular was the same age as me.

 Which means the Alpha had cheated on her not long after they got married.

 "Miranda! Miranda!" A voice from outside my room.

 

Of course I knew that voice, that one lady who caused my mother's death.

 Why on earth was she calling me?

She was shouting my name like she was calling a servant or something.

What gave her that right?

Curious, I wanted to go meet her.

 I walked out of my room and there she was standing at my door  like a queen. She wore an angry expression which only made her look more ugly, compared to my mum in beauty she was very far behind.

 I don’t even  understand what my Dad sees in her to cheat on my mum in the first place
