I slammed the door shut and drove down at high speed, stepping on the gear without care as my thoughts couldn't seem to recover from the shocking news.

We have 3 different plot holes here. In the beginning of the book, Irene referenced that they only had sex once and she got knocked up. When they randomly bang in the early chapters, Karson references a previous encounter with her. Then he said checking on her always led to sex. How is he confused
