"Shit!" I pushed Karson away and jumped down to my feet, spinning around, I held Carl's suspicious gaze. My little boy had his eyes squinted as he stood on the stairs holding his toy with one hand.

Oh Goddess! He saw that, didn't he?

"Fuck," Karson swore under his breath as he turned around, probably to hide his boner in front of our kid. The situation was almost laughable. While he fixed himself, I approached my son.

"Carl, what are you doing here, honey?" I rushed to him as he climbed down the stairs, rubbing his sleepy eyes.

"I can't shweep."

"Aween, you couldn't sleep?" I quite remembered him sprawled on the bed with his legs thrown about as he snoozed away. "You want some water... milk?"

Instead, he kept his eyes on Karson and didn't look away, the suspicion on his face very visible. Oh my cute little detective!

"What's uncle doin' here?" He pointed to him and I turned back to Karson who now had his legs crossed so good, you'd know he was hiding a weapon between his legs.
