BAELA
The solitude of my room gave me ample time to reflect. Of course I was never truly alone...Aria was with me as always but she was now invisible. She was only a whisper or a call away if I needed her to reappear.
I sat on the only singular wooden chair in my bedroom as I looked outside the open window. The rays of the sun were beginning to shine forth from the horizon, although the sun was still hidden underneath.
The red, orange and yellow colour of the sunrise looked beautiful in the far distance sky and it reminded me of Lily. Every morning, she would race to my bedroom to wake me up as soon as she saw the first lights of sunrise. She always had new adventures planned for almost everyday.
Now that I looked into the beautiful distant clouds adorned with the beautiful colours of the sunrise, I couldn't help but replay my last memory of her...

12 DAYS PRIOR"ARISE and SHINE!"
I heard the familiar sound of my sister's voice bust into my room unannounced but not before I had heard the squeaky sound of the old hinges of my door.
"Arghhh!" I sighed in bed under my blanket, as I rolled over against the direction of the sound of her voice.
"Get up! It is morning already!". She urged, as she sat on the left lower edge of my bed.
I grumbled quietly underneath my blanket, indicating I wanted to stay in bed some more.
I was still sore from our adventure yesterday and I hadn't yet figured out how to transform into my werewolf, so my recovery was much slower than hers.
"Aria should set an alarm for you".
"I shouldn't have to come here everyday to wake my older sister out of bed". She said.
I know she was teasing me...trying to call me LAZY, so I will get annoyed at her and get out of bed. No that wasn't going to work today, I know that trick already.
"Hmmm". She sighed, seeing I did not bulge.
"Okay, suit yourself. I am on my way to have the most wonderful adventure!" She exclaimed, loud enough for me to hear, as if I hadn't heard her loud noises when she walked in.
I nodded my head in approval under the blanket. Not that she saw it but it was my blessing. I will catch up with her later in the morning and probably apologise to letting her go alone.
I settled back into my peaceful state of sleep awaiting her once again to walk out the door, with one final squeaky sound of the old hinges but I heard nothing.
I felt a bit uneasy, as I listened some more but nothing and then I heard the sound of her legs on my bed as she quickly began to bounce on it.
"Oh my God, Lily!" I said with a frustrated smile on my face. I loved my younger sister to the moon and back but she was a handful and could sometimes be annoying.
"Hello Baela. Bouncing beautiful morning!" Lily said, smiling down at me as she continued to bounce on my bed.
I gave out one huge breath of air. I was finally down sleeping.
"Okay I am up, you win". I said, finally sitting up on my bed but my blanket was still covering my waist to my legs.
Lily seemed to be enjoying herself now as she kept on bouncing on my bed.
"Can you stop now or else I'll have Aria bounce you out of the window". I said with a smirk on my face. Of course Aria had no such powers but since she knew about her, she likes teasing me with her and giving her so many imaginary powers.
"Oh, please don't! I'll stop!" Lily begged, pretending to be afraid. She quickly jumped off my bed, landing on the floor with her legs.
"Very good!" I said commending her for heeding caution as I smiled properly at her.
I looked outside the window and the sky was lit with red, orange and yellow and it was beautiful to behold but the sun was still underneath the horizon.
"Isn't it beautiful?!" Lily exclaimed, as she also stared at my opened window.
"Yes it is...EVERYTIME!" I said, capturing its splendour one more time.
"We both have the best view of the sunrise!" She said pleased. Our bedrooms were besides each other, facing the rising sun from the east.
"Yes we do!". I thought to myself as I got out of bed.
"So what adventure do you have planned for us today!"
I sounded excited. I was actually, I just wanted to get a few more hours of sleep before we began.
I could see the broad happy smile on Lily's face as she ran towards me and placed her right arm across my shoulder.
I was 2 inches taller than her as she stood besides me. She used her arm across her shoulder to gently redirect me in the direction of the opened window.
"Now picture this sun rise and close your eyes". I heard her say in a whisper.
"Why are you whispering?" I chuckled. I found it funny and strange at the same time.
"Shhh". I heard her say.
"Just capture the moment and close your eyes". She urged, silencing me.
"Okay". I said, finally surrendering to her request. I took a look at the sunrise then closed my eyes.
"I know it looks beautiful. Now imagine having to witness both the sunrise and watching the sunset down the horizon all in one day...wouldn't that be amazing?!" I heard Lily say.
I couldn't believe my ears, as I quickly opened my eyes and looked at her at my side.
"You can't be suggesting what I think you are?" I said, as I shook my head simultaneously.
I could see Lily's eyes lighten up and it had the answer in them.
"No, you can't possibly be serious!" I said, pulling away in shock. Possibly I had over indulged her in her fun and games that we were now going over the limit.
"Don't be no fun but I am serious". She said, trying to persuade me to not chicken out on her plan.
"It is too risky, besides mom and dad won't approve if they knew!" I pointed out.
"That's why we are sisters, we do literally everything together! We are exploring our inner werewolves" Lily said, trying to buy me over.
"When was the last time we told mom and dad about our real plans for the day? But so far we have been fine!" She said cheerfully.
"I know but this is different Lily. We have been told stories of what lies to the west just beyond the mountains, where the horizon is!"
I was frightened, just thinking about it. We were told awfully stories of that place as kids and warned to stay clear.
"But those were fables, told to scare us as kids but we are not kids anymore are we?" Lily said, challenging my curiosity.
Of a truth, I have always been curious to know what lies beyond the mountains to the west. Or what lies far away from our home in the north, to the lands of the south - in the woods of Gaiamania or the infamous place called the "Ends of the world".
Everything seemed scary to me to be honest and having not taken my werewolf form yet, I had every reason too.
"Baela, you have nothing to be scared off. I have read about my lays behind the mountains in the west and as long as we go and come back before dark, we will be fine".
Lily revealed confidently.I knew she had her way with knowledge and information. She had a lot more knowledge than I did on so many things. She was so adventurous for her age.
"This will be the craziest thing we would pull off together if we did it!" I said, as I looked at her with a bit of doubt on my face but I was beginning to consider the possibility.
"Yes I know but it will be exciting, it will be fun, it will be so much fun!"
"Please say yes...please". She was pouting her lips at me and making an innocent face she knew I could not refuse.
I was already drawn into her adventure and nothing here really excited me. Going on adventure with Lily was the only thing that was worthwhile here.
"Okay!" I whispered finally to her with a smile on my face and I could see the instant joy on Lily's face as she jumped on me like a monkey.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
"I love you Baela!" She said, so fast. She was clearly very excited about my choice to go with her plan.
"I promise you, it will be the best adventure we have ever had!"
***Dear readers, please gift me Gems! Thank you!
BAELA Inside of the castle was alive now, as I stepped out of my bedroom door into the passageway. Too alive to be precise. I gave a rather suspicious look at the guard that was standing not too far from my room. There were usually no guards stationed on this floor, they only used to patrol here at night. "Hmmm". I pondered, as I stepped out of my room, shutting the door behind me. I was wearing an attractive all black gown, short in length and above the knee. I also wore matching black boots to complement my black gown. "Could this be the handiwork of my father?" I thought to myself, staring at the guard some feet away. He was standing perpendicular to me and wasn't looking in my direction. There was only one way to find out, I had to ask him. I walked towards him with curiosity before stopping right in front of him. He was a Delta werewolf. Only they could be assigned to this role of guarding the fourth floor. The Beta guards were with the Alpha on the second floor and that wa
BAELA We had all sorts to eat on the dining table. Father made sure it was all arranged for our guest; ABBADON DARGAN. "Abbadon Dargan". I thought about the name a little bit but although it was dark, I liked it. It gave his personality depth and I was intrigued even more by this mysterious wanderer. I barely ate my food as I was more concerned about spending some alone time with him after breakfast. Hopefully father and mother wouldn't object to that. "You should eat some more!" Father said merrily to Abbadon, with a large piece of pork still hanging on his fork as he held his steel cup of ale off the table in his other hand. Abbadon smiled at him, as he picked his food delicately from his plate with his cutlery. Like I said, he had quite the table manners for a wanderer. "You won't be strong this way, if you eat with such grace". "You should be graceful with the ale but not with the food. You will need all your strength for what lies ahead". Father said heartily. I could tell
BAELA I heard the door close shut behind me with its familiar squeaky sound. We shouldn't be here, I knew. I hope I wasn't making a mistake? I hope I don't get myself into more trouble? But he was standing right behind me, clouding my judgement, making me unable to think as I stood rooted on the spot waiting for his next move. It seemed like an eternity waiting for him to act but in reality barely a few seconds had passed since we got in. "I see why you want me in the castle..." I heard him whisper from behind as he walked up slowly towards me. I closed my eyes instinctively, as I breathed out awaiting his sensual touch. Memories of us together before dawn this morning flooding my mind. I know he could read my mind. He had shown me he could just a few minutes earlier and now I was ready to explore with him the heights and depths of my pleasure even though that was not what we were supposed to be doing in here. "The castle is nice and a beautiful place". He said, completing hi
BAELA "Father!" I called out instinctively, quivering in fear, as he barged into my bedroom unannounced but he wasn't looking at my direction. I quickly withdrew my hands and lips that once hung around Abbadon's neck and kissed his lips a second ago. I stood mortified at the spot as I awaited my fathers judgement. I was anxious about what my father was going to do next. "HOW DARE YOU?!" I heard my father growl underneath his words, as he stood at the entrance of the door. It was a low but threatening growl and I could see the rage was beginning to build up in his eyes. How DARE YOU COME IN HERE, to my DAUGHTER'S ROOM and DO THIS?!" Father growled even more. I could see the disbelief in his eyes, as he stood still blocking the entrance of the door. Abbadon and I were both trapped in. Now, I was worried about Abbadon's safety. We had just become lovers and now my new found love was about to be taken away from me...everything was about to be ruined! "Father, please forgive me! I
BAELA I have been sobbing all alone in my room for hours, ever since Abbadon was taken captive by my father; Beta Lorgan. The time was now approaching nightfall and I could not do anything else but think of him. I had refused to eat the lunch that had been brought up to me by one of the Delta guards. I imagined the pain and torture Abbadon must be going through. I imagined if the last I would see of him was from this morning. The day had started out so well and bright and now it was ending on a bad and gloomy note. The rays of the sun that filtered into my room through the glass window some hours ago were now all gone. It was now sunset and I imagined what the beautiful sunset would look like in my head, for I could not see it. Its beautiful colours and its warmth on my skin. It reminded me once again of Lily, how much she loved to watch the sunrise and the sunset and I let my mind wander to her for a moment... *** 12 DAYS PRIOR. "Isn't it beautiful here?!" I heard Lily say w
BAELAThe sun had long set and it was now night time, as I laid on my bed. I was in the dark in my room as I refused to light up the lantern. The Delta werewolves had kindly offered to do so for me but I ignored them. I just wanted to be left alone in the dark. The darkness of my room matched how I felt inside - it was gloomy.I hadn't spoken to Aria since I was confined to my room. I didn't feel like it. The Delta guards were also outside my room and would think I was insane talking outloud "to myself".I was backing the window as I laid on my side on the bed, staring at the entrance of my room. The door was broken, so I could see a reflection of the light coming from the passageway. I was about to close my eyes to get some sleep if I could manage it, when I heard footsteps approaching. They were familiar footsteps of two werewolves I knew so well - they were those of my parents.I quickly sat up on my bed, ready to welcome them. Father and mother hadn't been to my room all day sinc
BAELAAll was perfect again in the Aurora Clan pack for me as a brand new day began. I had all I needed restored back to me by my parents. Their love and that of the charming Abbadon Dargan.I had seen him for breakfast this morning in a more lively environment than last night. Please Don't get me wrong, last night was wonderful. I had the privilege with my parents of having dinner with Abbadon at the dining hall and he looked as perfect as he was in the morning. He was unhurt anywhere on his body. Father and his Alpha Guards made sure not to harm a single hair on his head.We sat in the same sitting arrangement as we did for breakfast. Me seated beside mother, while Abbadon sat opposite us, close to father. We ate mostly in silence but the silence was meaningful. It wasn't cold - there were smiles here and there and the silence was rather reflective on our parts, as I imagined life with Abbadon...it was blissful! We ended the night on a high note with me having a chance to talk wit
BAELAI was awestruck by the way Abbadon moved during training. He moved quickly and stealthily for a werewolf; evasive, yet powerful! I wondered how he learnt to fight like that?Werewolves were usually quick and abrasive in their attack to show their dominance but his was different. He could strike without getting struck. He could inflict his maximum blow and walk away unscathed. He could do this while still not transformed! I imagined what else he could do in his werewolf form. There was still a lot I had to learn about Abbadon Dargan but this excited me rather than scare me. The stealth way he moved brought back flashes, as the mystery of what had happened in the past began to unravel in my mind...***12 DAYS PRIORI laid hidden in the spot, at the base of the mountain where my Dark Angel had rescued me and kept me. I didn't know his name, so I called him that.It was brave of him to risk his life to rescue us, after having seen the vicious giant troll that was out there to kill
