Chapter 71

Luciana’s POV

Luciana couldn’t sleep at all that night. She had a lot on her mind, and one of them was trying to get Elijah to forgive her as well as fix things with him.

She turned to look at Alister who was dozing softly next to her, oblivious of her troubles. At least he could sleep in peace and not be bothered by what was going on.

She sighed softly, turning to the other side and tried to force herself to sleep, but a piercing scream interrupted her, waking up Alister in an instant.

She didn’t need to be told twice, she knew the scream had come from the house and it had to be one of the boys.

“ what the fuck!” Alister shouted as he rushed out of bed, immediately wearing his discarded shorts.

She too climbed out of bed, grabbing her robe and throwing it on her shoulders. Alister was already out of the room, before she was done.
