Ezra felt his head spinning. He’d not expected to hear that name. And certainly not in association with the rebellion anymore.

“Do you know him?” Cage asked, studying the omega's face and the change in his expression.

“N-No” he whispered and Cage's face darkened.

His omega was stiff… stuttering. It told him all that he needed to know. Ezra was lying.

But for what?

He shook his head and rose to his feet. Ezra followed his gaze.

“Where are you going?”

“Out. I have something I need to take

Cage froze at the question and Ezra's eyes stayed on him and watched his expression harden. "Never mind. I didn't..." "Kael and I used to be friends" Cage mumbled, cutting Ezra off as he sat on the bed beside him. Ezra's eyes widened in surprise. Two of them had been friends? Then what could have possibly happened that turned them against each other in this way? To the extent they had a blood duel. Ezra waited for more from Alpha Cage but when he said nothing, he assumed there wouldn't be any more explanation. “Until it was time to become prime alphas” he dropped the bomb. “Your packs have a rivalry?” “Kael wanted something I couldn’t give. And he didn’t take well to it” “W-What did he want?” Ezra stuttered the question. “Something I couldn’t give” Cage growled out and the room plunged into silence for a second. “So he turned into an enemy?” Ezra asked in disbelief. It was hard to comprehend just how their friendship turned sour over something like that. Unless… Alpha Cag

Ezra stumbled backwards, his back crashing into the wall. The voices inside stopped and then the door flew open. Two men marched out, their faces twisted in dark hate as they marched towards him. Ezra jumped backwards, slamming into a pillar and turning around to run but one man grabbed him, his arms going around his throat. "Intruders" Ezra screamed at the top of his lungs and the arm around him tightened. He clawed desperately for air as the sound of running footsteps came above them. "Shit! Let's go" the second man shouted in panic but the one with his arms around Ezra's neck refused to let go. His grip tightened until spits danced in Ezra's vision and then he was lifting Ezra off the ground and throwing him against the wall. "Ahhh" Ezra landed with a loud cry, the pain travelling through his entire body. "Shit. Go..." The first man bolted and the second one looked behind him, spotting an alpha barreling towards him. His eyes finally widened in fear and he tried to flee wh

Ezra felt nervous at the sight of this alpha in his office. He looked over his shoulders, calculating just how possible it would be to flee. "You don't need to run" Kael's voice cut through his thoughts and Ezra looked at the alpha again. "I only want to speak to you" "W-Why?" Ezra stuttered nervously, still not moving from his spot at the door. "I'm impressed by what you do. I even offered to help once..." Kael rose to his feet, keeping his eyes on the trembling omega. "For some reason... it seems like you're avoiding me" Kael's eyes narrowed as he closed the space between them. "I'm not..." "It's because of your alpha isn't it?" Kael continued, his expression darkening for a second and then a very bright smile was on his face, throwing Ezra off guard. "N-No" Kael's eyes narrowed frowned at him. "It's unbecoming of an omega to be a liar" Kael said as he drew even closer. Ezra's feet refused to move as his eyes followed every movement the alpha made. "Your alpha is wrong a

Cage pulled on his clothes and watched the omega still asleep. His eyes traced the red marks that littered his neck and back. A surge of pleasure rushed through him. He liked seeing Ezra covered in his marks. The brand of ownership that made his wolf settle. Ezra whined, rolling in the bed and reaching for the empty space. Cage's lips curled into a grin. He was subconsciously reaching for him in his sleep. And with his words of assurance from earlier, he was convinced. The omega wanted only him. That meant the other fucker had to go. Once Cage was dressed up, he stalked out of his room to the conference room. The meeting that was supposed to have been held over two hours ago had just begun. His eyes swept over the room in his usual fashion and then he settled into his chair. “We’ve come to a decision” Ambrose started, the usual spokesperson for the remaining prime alphas. “We’ll keep the court as it is” “I disagree” Cage said, not wasting a second. Murmurs erupted in the

Ezra shivered at the words and took an involuntary step backward. "Strip" Alpha Cage barked the order and Ezra jerked as he swallowed. A thrill rushed through him as the air in the room grew hotter. And with practiced movement, he pulled at the ropes of his tunic. The material slid down his chest and pooled around his feet. Alpha Cage's eyes burned hotly across his chest. "Take it off. All of it" he barked again and Ezra did just as his Alpha had commanded. His breeches joined the fine tunic on the floor and he met his Alpha's eyes again. Cage's eyes raked over him in silent approval, his veins thrumming with unreleased energy. "Over the bed. Face down, ass up" Ezra obeyed, his knees sinking into the soft mattress as he presented himself to his Alpha. Alpha Cage's chest rumbled again as his fingers splayed over the curve of Ezra's ass, the soft skin begging to be touched... spanked. Cage's hand moved fast, the calloused skin of his palm connecting with the softness of Ezra'

  • The Alpha’s Scentless Breeder    62. WHERE HIS LOYALTY BELONGS

Ezra went through the last of the lists he’d compiled. Leon was supposed to go through them and he’d bring the matter up before Alpha Cage before Alpha Slade could assign identity tags. The lie he’d told Alpha Cage had eaten him up all morning and he couldn’t stay still anymore. He was going to see Alpha Cage and tell him the truth. The door opened just as he finished and Leon rushed back in. “Where have you been?” He frowned at him. “Around. The omegas are making serious progress. Where are you going?” Leon asked with a frown. “I’ve finished the list. You just need to look through them and we’ll take it up with Alpha Cage” He nodded. “You need to do that before the other alpha starts assigning tags” Ezra nodded. “Do you know if the alpha is still in a meeting?” Leon shrugged. “Not really. I haven’t gone over to the pack house since I left. But you can check” “Okay, Leon. I’ll see you later” Ezra mumbled, rushing out of the office and the omega residence. The pack house was

"The invitation to the party doesn't extend to my pet, Kael," the rich masculine voice growled and Ezra stiffened. The alpha had walked fast, crossing the vast room in a split second. Ezra's mind was fogged up from the moment he opened his eyes. The sunlight above him was punishing. He stared at the clouds in confusion for a few seconds. He rolled over, and his body was stopped by a warm log. Ezra paused as his ears picked up the sound of a beating heart. Logs didn't have heart

The Alpha wasn't the least bit disgusted by the thought. There was something about the Omega that made him want to do things he'd never thought of doing before. He leaned in, sniffing the Omega's dripping ass. It smelled like honey and flowers. He couldn't hold back on the urge anymore and buried

Ezra stumbled backwards, heart still pounding in his chest in fear. The water rippled around him as he tried to move away from the domineering gaze of the wolf. "Step out," the command floated into his head, sharp and cold. It sank into his bones, absolute and heavy. Ezra's mind became m
