“Sutton, I think it’s clean enough,” Tarrah urged.

I was on my hands and knees scrubbing the kitchen floor. I hadn’t stopped moving in days. It was making me a little jittery and I had knocked over the pot of coffee, shattering the carafe. I had cleaned the apartment from top to bottom already. Twice. I’d walked the palace. I’d walked the grounds. I couldn’t sit still.

“Sutton…” Tarrah grabbed the brush and dropped it in the bucket, taking my hands to keep me from continuing. “You need to stop.
