Chapter 8

I woke up to the smell of deliciousness. I vamp sped to the kitchen and I heard Wyatt chuckle. It was deep and sexy and- no Zara Thorne, you shouldn't fall for him, remember who he is. Remember what he did.

"But he looks so woof," Liv admired.

I ignored her as my eyes wandered his shirtless back in an apron. He turned around and stepped towards me and I froze. I so badly wanted to move away or push him away but I couldn't. I was completely frozen.

"You know I can smell your arousal right?" his lips brushed lightly on my earlobe.

"That's Liv," I caught myself before I started stuttering.

"Liv is technically apart of you so it's still you," our faces were so close to each other, our noses were practically touching.

"I'm hungry," I said quickly and took some of the food he cooked and walked away quickly.

I heard his low chuckle and it took alot out of me to not look back at him.

"Hey Z, you're looking stunning this morning," Miles appeared and sat in the couch with me as I was watching The Walking Dead.

"Um thanks but I just woke up," it sounded more of a question than a statement.

Miles is handsome but nothing compared to Wyatt. They both had blue eyes but Miles' was bluer, more of a baby blue colour. I didn't find myself captivated by them as much as I did with Wyatt's. Or maybe it's the mate bond talking. Immediately my thoughts were stopped as I smelt him nearby. I took the risk to look behind me and there he was glaring at Miles as if he could sink him six feet under.

"Oh hello brother," Miles greeted but Wyatt only growled in response.

My immediate instinct was to calm him down. As I stood by his side and held his hand, he took my other hand and wrapped me in his embrace.

"Mine," he growled. I didn't expect this reaction towards his brother, especially since it was mere talking.

I should've gotten upset that he called me his like I was an object but I wasn't since technically I was mated to him.

"Relax brother. I don't have a death wish," he put his hands up in surrender.

"Guys! Woah, the tension in here is suffocating but that doesn't matter. Something's wrong with Stella," Remy ran down stairs and ran back up after delivering the message.

I was the first to reach to the room.

"What happened?" I asked as I looked at my sister in shock.

"One minute we were playing barbie dollhouse. Laugh and you're a dead man. Then suddenly her eyes rolled back and now she's floating vertically in the air, just staring at me," he explained.

As soon as we got to her room, Stella was indeed floating vertically in the air. It was as if she was perfectly fine. She was blinking, breathing but she wasn't talking.

"Smrt' je na tebe! Smrt' je na tebe! Smrt' je na tebe! YOU WERE WARNED!!" a deep voice from Stella's lips exclaimed and she fell on the ground.

"What were we warned of?" Miles asked.

"What the hell was she saying?" Remy asked and I was left in fright.

"I know," I said finally finding my voice and paused furrowing my eyebrows in confusion.

"Well? Tell us," Miles spoke.

"Someone's here," and I ran downstairs to see a handsome blonde  hair guy at the door. He smiled as soon as his eyes met mine.

"Zara?" Wyatt was immediately by my side.

"She said death was upon us," I told him and the guy's smile became freakishly bigger.
