Chp 10 Pt. 5 Attack On The Pack
Ahsoka
When I wake up I can feel this electric current sensation traveling up and down my right side. I open my eyes and adjust to the darkness. The lights are off and it’s dark outside. I can hear the monitor begin to beep faster as panic sets in but I look to my right and see Nico. I immediately calm down and smile at him. He is asleep.
I try to sit up but my body refuses to hold my weight. I feel very weak. I try to remember what happened but for some reason can only remember being in cold water. Nico begins to stir and opens his eyes. Once he sees that I am awake he jumps and I think I see tears in his eyes.
“Oh my goddess, you’re awake. How do you feel? Do you need anything?” I notice he has a blank look but quickly returns his attention to me. He checked every inch of me before being satisfied that I am truly okay.

AhsokaAfter all the excitement, Nico leads me to a meadow. He says this is where all the pack runs are held besides the graduation run. Currently it is growing beautiful wild flowers and there are fireflies everywhere. The whole family is with me to go on a run together. AhsokaWe quickly shower and I blow dry and straighten my hair. I put on some light make up and a simple ice blue summer dress to match my eyes. I still can’t get over my eye color. They really stand out against my dark skin. I strap my wedges on and follow Nico downstairs to the party. I am shocked to see so many people here. I haven’t even met half of them yet, but Nico assures me they all know of me and they are proud to have me as their next luna. Nico It’s been a few weeks since Ahsoka’s birthday party. Celine said she couldn’t track where the branding iron came from. I carefully watch as the tattoo looking mark, which is of a wolf howling at a full moon, on Dimitri fades and begins to appear on Nico. Now that this has been completed I know the luna ceremony will take place soon. Nico said this officially makes me the luna anyway since we are fully mated but it’s tradition to throw a party and have the luna officially accept the role as well.
