My heart nearly broke seeing her so frightened of me. Father said she reacted the same way to him and told me about her reaction when she was told she was coming to stay with us. It sounds as though she is deathly terrified of her father, but she wants to return to him. I don’t understand why she would want to. Sounds like the guy is a wanted murderer if he has killed before. I’ll have to see what Drew dug up.

When we get to the house Ahsoka is passed out in the back seat. She looks so peaceful. I don’t know what would have happened had I and Shaun not been there, watching her. I could hear the panic in Mr. McGuire’s voice when he told me she took off as soon as the social worker spoke to her, then Shaun and I had to ask permission to break into the house as we saw her father beating the shit out of her to the point I thought he was going to kill her. Father finally agreed since children’s services had already planned to intervene. Makes me angry all over again just thinking abo
