Lyra's POV

My breathing hitched up. I couldn't really understand the things that Macy had said before but when I heard the words about being pregnant for Asher, I couldn't sit still.

I suddenly lost my appetite and my whole body was spasming in fear that maybe he had ejaculated inside of me and now I was with his child.

I feared for the worst, I feared how people would treat me, the names they would call me and how badly I would be alienated.

My mother would kill me too, the only thing she was searching for was an excuse to finally end my existence and if she found out that I was pregnant, it was all she needed to do.

My heart was beating fast and Macy noticed this. She immediately dropped her spoon and made her way over to me.

"I know that you're scared about what is going on now, but I assure you, you have nothing to fear. If it really does happen that you get pregnant, we'll be quick to get rid of it". Macy suggested.
