MIGUEL'S POV

“You're Miguel!” Mother screamed at me and I hurriedly covered her mouth.

“Yes, Miquel overheard our conversation, and he persuaded me to stay while he goes searching for his mate, it was more like a loveless marriage by the way” I muttered.

“Do you know the implications of what you're doing? You deceived us all. Your bride, inclusive!” Mother shot back. I get she fears the repercussions of my actions.

“I wouldn't have done this if I didn't know the implications, mother. Aside from that, Valeria is my mate” I chortled. She stared at me unbelievably.

“You punk, you deceived even your mother, how dare you” she said, beating me playfully?

“Mother, that hurts” I mumbled and she stopped.

“I wonder how my son is doing, your father didn't take the search seriously thinking it was you” mother said absentmindedly then covered her mouth at her last statement.
