Leo.

Every elder of the Crescent Moon Pack sits around the gigantic table in the middle of the Courtroom. The almost full moon is spilling his shineness from the open ceiling into the table, illuminating the Pack’s topography.

Auden and Zena sit besides me. While I sit in the middle of the podium listening to the Proposal and contribution made by the head elder.

“This is unacceptable, Alpha. There are rumours everywhere that a human stepped his feet into the Pack. Such an abomination hasn't happened in years.”

“I totally agree but our concern should be what he was doing here, we need an explanation,” The oldest of the elders speaks, gesturing his finger to show his point.

“You both are overreacting,” The only female elder in our midst, Mrs Magdalene says.

“If I may speak on these issues because I was a witness,” Zena begins, “The human in question is Mr Mason Alien. He was here with his child and he didn't mean harm or cause some sort of trouble. He was in desperate need of help and A

Leo“Were you trying to get yourself killed? Don’t you care about your life at all, Leo?” Zena is distressed.“I need to concentrate here, Delta,” The doctor warns Zena, as he removes bullets and fragments from my damaged tissues, “Although the Delta is right, if he had hit your heart with these special bullets, it would have been hard to help you.”“Thanks to the moon goddess Mason is a bad shooter, what if he had hit your heart? How could you just stand there and watch him hurt you? How could you and Amir handle something like that?”“Great, you are healing just fine,” The doctor praised my ability to heal fast, “I just need you to rest for a few hours, Alpha.”I nodded as I grabbed Zena’s hands, comforting her as she cried sorrowfully, her heart breaking for me and Mason, her heart breaking at how things turned out between us.“I’m fine, Zena. Why are you crying like you are the one that broke Mason’s heart? You are stronger than that.”“I don’t care, I know you are hurt but you wo

Mason“Young master..?” Rachel is aghast, her eyes unable to look away from the corpse behind me.I immediately threw the gun in my hand to the floor, panic attacks rising with a dreadful feeling washing over me. I can’t breathe… I can’t… I could feel my windpipe closing up, my heart palpitating.“I didn’t kill him, I didn't kill them… I didn’t …”Helen cuts me short, “Why are you both just standing there?” She referred to Mikko and David, “You clean up here for a start, You call this number, they will know what to do,” She gives a piece of paper to David as she turns to Rachel, “Why are you still sitting there? Take Kai away right now.”Rachel jumps on her feet, scrambling to get Kai Kai away from me. I don’t know why, my legs just moved on their own as I followed Kai Kai, my baby, my son… my own… the only thing… the only person that will never betray me.“Kai Kai, wait ,” I called after him, rushing toward him when Helen grabbed my collar, pulling me up until I couldn’t feel my feet

MasonI could hear everything in my surroundings, even myself, “Die Leo, you deserve to die. You should die,” The words keep leaving my mouth like a mantra as I just keep pulling the trigger, “Leo, you deserve to die.”“Mason, Leo is gone!” David yelled, begging me to stop shooting the air.“Leo, die, you deserve to die.”“Get down, Mason,” Mikko pushed me to the ground, shooting at the crazy wolves that were storming towards us. I couldn’t stay down, I just knew I needed to continue pulling the trigger. I was recklessly shooting when a bullet went into Mikko’s thighs. He groans, kneeling, “What the fuck, Mason. You are losing your mind! David, what are you waiting there for? Kick the gun out of his hand.”On impulse I turned the gun at David, aiming at his head, “Leo die, you deserve to die.”“What the actual fuck!” Mikko grits his teeth, David is just frozen on his feet, glaring at me.I pulled the trigger, missing to kill him as Mikko pushed me to the ground, hitting my wrist as

LeoBy the time I arrived at the Central Plains, I finally reached the part where the city was not covered in smoke. I take in the scenes with a clench fist, watching how a lot of buildings are collapsing to dust with bullet holes. A lot of elite wolves are swamping forward to the middle of the city where the bullets were coming from.Mason should be there too.I didn’t hesitate to rush into the battlefield alone, cutting down every throat of any wolf that stood in front of me. I needed to see Mason, I needed to save him.I stop on my feet abruptly as I’m being gathered, they circled themselves around me, stopping me from going backward or forward. I ignored my situation and let my eyes wander over the scene, searching for only one person. I couldn’t even think of finding him by his scent because of the dreadful smell of blood in the whole city. It’s heavy.I finally saw Mason at the barricades, he stood in between two special energy machine weapons with Mikko and David on both side

LeoI hurried back to the Packhouse over Auden’s panic signal. Our mind-link was broken before I could even ask him what the problem was.The situation in the pack had gotten more out of control in the last three hours.Blood, I could smell heavy rain of blood in the air.The rogue wolves that had been fighting at the Pack’s entrance, trying to get into the building had finally succeeded after three hours of consistent vandalisation and pushing. Auden was leaning over on Zena, exhausted and bleeding from his arms.Jason was causally fighting at the left side, half in his wolf form as he moved swiftly.“Leo, this is bad,” Zena frowns, watching the Pack guards protect the Pack, “It seems they’re increasing in strength as the hours pass by. They are so mindless.”“Rogues are casted as mindless Zena,” I watch the scene carefully, resting my hands in my pockets, “Get Auden to safety and stay with him. You are not supposed to be here in the first place.”“I’m not leaving,” Auden stands stra

I was about to head straight to bed when my phone rang.My heart jumps in my chest.Leo.I didn’t wait for the second ring and instantly picked up his call, almost tripping on my feet, “Hi,” I loosen my tie with my other hand, sitting on the bed while waiting for his voice to come from the other end.“Sugar…? I miss you, why did you leave so suddenly?” His voice is raspy and breathy. I feel so bad because I miss him so much too, even thinking about him makes me happy, “Did you read my letter?”“I did.”“Where are you?” I couldn’t help but ask, feeling restlessness from the inside that he is not currently at home.Who knows he might be at his mother’s house which means Ethan will be there.“I’m home, sugar.
