Leo.
I stood in front of the mirror confidently, smirking at how good l looked. I finished with the last button of my shirt before a knock came on the door and l already knew it was Zena. "You look so good my brother. Now let's see who is going to get all the attentions,” She said, gazing at me with glamour in her eyes. “I don't wish to seek attention in the human world. They have nothing on me and it doesn't really matter because they don't exist to me as much as l don't exist to them.” "Whatever you say, Alpha Leo. The car is ready, we should start going." I glanced at the mirror again before making my way out of the room. I walked to the latest Bentley Bentayga AWD, a fine colour l bought for myself as a new year presence. “I will drive,” Auden said, getting into the driver's seat. "You look so good, Leo. I'm jealous of going with you now. You u deserve all the spotlight,” Zena praised, staring at me like we don't stay under the same roof together all the time. “Are you just seeing me for the first time in your life, Zena?" "But you do look very good, Alpha,” Auden adds, looking at me through the rear mirror as our eyes met. "I choose the best things for my brother, Beta,” Zena replied sarcastically to Auden as they both cackled together. I shook my head tiredly and let out a sigh, enjoying the beautiful scenery leading to the Alien's villa. Sometimes sitting in the car and acting moderately isn't really for me. If it was my kind's gathering I'd have probably scampered through the woods and gotten there immediately. The silence between Zena and l is what l enjoy the most. Quietness and aloneness makes it easier to have control of what is happening around you. "There are so many people here, are you sure this is okay for you?” Auden asked me sincerely as we took the next turn. Cars were already filled on both sides of the road, some were driving slowly into the Mansion. “I'm fine, Auden,” l retorted with certainty. My eyes moved with Zena's hand as she gave the invitation card to Auden so he could show it to the guards when it was our turn. “A grand party is where one should be on a normal day,” She muttered. l ignore her and step out of the car as nothing but pure nonsense comes out of Zena’s mouth at any given time. I stood nervously as the whispers and murmurs gushed at me uncontrollably. The air is filled with vague scents, expensive colognes and strange whiffs. "If you didn't want to come you should have stood on your own words, your face is too gloomy for a party," Auden stares at every corner of my face, “You rarely gather with them, I'm just worried about you. You seem obviously uncomfortable.” "It's fine, Auden." "Standing here won't bag the deal, don't you think it will be a good idea to go in there greet the celebrant as everyone else is doing?” Zena muttered, getting in the middle between Auden and I. My eyes wandered to the main entrance, “So this is the popular Mr Alien, the one toying with the economy.” “Alpha Leo, l don't think he will recognise you anyway. The Mason's corporation only knows your name but they haven't met you in person,” Auden explains since he attends most of the meetings as my representative. "That is effectively fine by me, I'm everyone's mystery,” l grinned, confidently walking toward him. "Happy Birthday, Mr Alien,” l greeted, stretching out my hand for a handshake with a smile on my lips as courtesy. “And you are?" He asked, looking at the older man beside him. I got tense when he kept on holding and patting my hand. If he wants to ask his underlings questions about me, he should at least let go of my hand as he does so. l sneered when his right-hand man, called it his beta speak to his ears after he got the invitation letter from Auden. “He is Mr Leo, the shareholder of the leather exchange." "Oh son, you must be Leo. You are very young and at this age you look very responsible. Who is your father?" “He was a great man, it's just my mother," I said, still having a slight smile on my lips. "She must be proud of you, are you engaged? My son is just around your age. Is she your fiance?" He expresses, looking over at Zena. "No, she is my sister.” “Oh, that is great. I'm looking for a wife for my son so allow me to introduce your sister to him later,” He said excitedly, patting my shoulder. "It is left for my sister, Mr Alien." "You are a good man, please welcome and enjoy the party.” “I appreciate your warm welcome, Mr Alien.” "This way, Mr Leo,” One of the waiters showed us to our seats. "Thank you,” I said to the waiter, unbuttoning my suit to sit down comfortably. "Is it just me but that man is creepy as hell,” Zena rolls her eyes, tugging her hair behind her ears. "You wanted to come to his party so bad Zena, now you are calling him creepy. And I don't think you have the best informations because he already wants to introduce you to his son,” I teased her. Although a business mogul like Mr Alien will wish to give me a proposal, a good offer. Too bad, my sister is my only sibling and l can't trade her for anything. “See don't make a mockery of that, Leo. l don't even know what the son looks like or what his type is. It is already mysterious that most people don't even know that he has a son, some people say he is an adopted son. It’s rare to see a picture of the both of them and it is not really clear who runs the company or who will take over all his property at the end of the day. He has so many people working under him in different cities under the same company name.” “And that is why you should make friends with him but for now, let's enjoy the party,” She continues, gesturing her hands for drinks. I shook my head incredulously and gulped down a glass of champagne. My eyes couldn't take a break from wandering around, making me feel uncomfortable. A faint peppermint scent kept rippling my nose but I couldn't get it right. “Sometimes I wish I was human so I could get to celebrate my birthday every year like this too.” "You can choose a date, Zena. We can celebrate it for you, only in your room.” "You mean it, Leo?" "In your dreams Zena, there is no way l can allow you to turn my house into a party hall,” l tell her, sternly. Some moments later the light slowly went dim with melodic music changing the room's atmosphere into an unexplainable aura. "Look Leo, the girls over there are checking you out,” Zena tapped me. "And?” "You are so boring, cheer up. Will you?" "Not my type." "Hold up, Leo. You have a type?” "Alpha?" Auden sits up, curious. The surprised look on their faces made me roll my eyes confusedly. “l shouldn't be surprised that someone like him has a type, right Auden?" Zena whispered to Auden. "You are right,” Auden said without taking his eyes off me. "You both should stop." The cacophony of the wine glass caught everyone's attention. Mr Alien smiles, taking his time to head to the spotlight. Why does his aura speak so much atrocity in a person, there is nothing that will make me listen to what he has to say. "I need to make use of the restroom." "I will come with you Alpha," Auden replied immediately. "That won't be needed, Auden." "Don't get lost and I'm thanksful to the moon goddess for taking you away from my side. At least someone can approach me, with a stern face like yours beside me no one would dare,” Zena frantically said. I shook my head, gulping down another glass of champagne as I made my way to the restroom. Immediately I opened the door I bumped into a suspicious-looking man. "Watch where you are going!" He snarled, almost coming at my face. l shook my head and ignored him for his ill mannerness and heed to my business. While I was drying my hands under the air dryer, my ears picked up a faintly stifling voice of a boy asking for help. I stepped out of the door, trying to decipher where the voice was coming from but I couldn't pinpoint it because of how noisy it was. My eyes fixed on a suspicious man with bartender uniform, rolling a trolley to the opposite directions. I followed him discreetly to the half path of the house. I paused on my feet and hide behind the walls as he stopped and brought out a boy under the trolley. His tiny hands were tied to the back and his mouth closed with a seal tape, his sobs were so loud in my ears. l stared closely as the bartender drags him to the swimming pool side and he is about to push him inside the pool, drowning him but my legs had a mind of their own. I walked to his direction, “Excuse me, what do you think you are doing?" "It's none of your business!" He said, immediately taking out a gun to point at me. I raised my hands in the air, surrendering. I gazed at the boy's eyes, he had tears fumed around his precious eyes and for the first time in my life my heartfelt possessiveness. Possessive of a human, he felt like he was mine and he was a big part of myself. His scent was also unpredictable to me. I couldn't understand how this strange kid made me tenderly happy like l saw my world in his eyes. l found him super cute and he had an effortless peace around him that drew me to him. "It's not my business yes but I'm very sure you are not the father of this child. No father in his right senses will tie his child's hands and shut his mouth like this. I'm sorry but you should let him go,” l said, walking slowly toward him. He immediately clicks the gun, ready to shoot. I'm not afraid as it wouldn't do much damage to me. "You are not the father of the child either, you have no right to tell me what to do. Just walk away and mind your goddamn business,” He warned, which made a lot of sense. It's literally not my business. l could just walk away but I couldn't bear to see the boy die in front of me. I shut my eyes tighter when he threw the boy inside the pool. If l leave here tonight or walk away right now I will never be able to forgive myself because I had the chance to save him. Even if he is human, he is still a child that knows nothing about the world and its inhabitants. Moreover, I don't care if l get caught but l won't allow a boy to be drown to death. I'm not an Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack for nothing, the rage within me ignited as I could hear the water wobble excessively. He was trying to save himself. I walked hastily toward this heartless piece of shit. When he noticed my approach he shot at my left chest which pissed me off bitterly. I rushed forward and wrapped my hands around his neck, squeezing the daylight out of him. l was slowly lifting him up in mid-air, it would be totally wrong of me to kill a human. I let him back on his feet as l held his right hand, crouching it to the back. I broke his shoulder joint making sure he never used a gun ever again. l pushed him to the ground and jumped hastily into the water. At this point, l didn't think of how wet I'll get when l come out or what will happen after this. l just want to save him. Bringing him out of the pool I was scared l didn't make it in time. Maybe I wasted so much time as he was not opening his eyes, l rushed to untie his hands, taking off the tape carefully. The scream from the maid left me in total shambles, everyone that heard the screams rushed to the pool side gathering and hawking at me like I was doing something bad. "How dare you try to kidnap the young master's son?" " What?" One of the guards screamed out, “We found him!” I ignored them and tried to wake him up. I checked his pulse but I could barely get anything. So I started a CPR, my eyes flashing red as l was still furious. He can't just die, right? One of the guards, dressed in all black rushed in and hit me on the face. l held my nose considering him for a moment, he rushed out to punch me again but I stood upright, daring him with my stares. "That is enough, David!" That voice came directly into my ears, needling my mind like an acupuncture practice. The world went on paused, l couldn't turn to see where the voice was coming from but l could hear his footsteps in my heart. The delicious and attractive smell of peppermint filled up my nose in a way it makes me dizzy. The very scent that has been lurking around my nose since I arrived here. Goosebumps decked on my skin and shivers went rapidly to my spine, his voice so sweet and mellifluous. He speaks in a tone I have never heard before. I turn around to look at him with no strength in my legs. My wolf began whining tremendously inside of me as eyes found a resting and a happy place on his face as he knelt down and picked up the boy in his arms. His black thick hair with a classic mullet, almost to his shoulders level. His eyes glowed with a violet colour, one that l have never seen before. His porcelain skin is like the fairest beauty of all my generation, his perfect pink pale lips with duchess nose. “Young master, the ambulance will be here any minute,” The guard announced to him. "Let me carry him, Mason,” The one that punched me in the face rushed to his side and took the boy from him. He stood up and looked at me like l had committed an abominable crime. But all that was wheezing in my head was that this man is my mate! My fated mate! He is my mate! “My Mate,” I murmured under my breath as he walked toward me."Leo“You want us to spend our time here in the forest Park?”“Should we go somewhere else?” I ask him, having a good idea.“It depends on where you will take me, no funny ideas, Leo,” He points his index finger at me, warning me and blushing at the same time.“What do you think I have in mind?”“I don’t know, you’re a pervert for all I care.”I’m astonished at how his first thought of my suggestion is me being a pervert. This just shows how naughty my mate is. I take a step forward, closing the space between us.“What do you want?” He takes a step backward. I could already see the large tree behind him so I decided to tease him even more.He points his index finger at me again, hissing, “Stay back.”I ignored him and took tormenting short strides towards him until his back was pressed on the tree. I kept an inch between us as I leaned forward, my breath fanning against his ear, “What makes you think I have perverted thoughts? Aren’t you so naughty, Mason?”He grabs my jacket, squeezin
Leo“Are you sure I should not come with you, Alpha?” Mark passes my jacket to me as I put it on, staring at the mirror.Nolan sits leisurely on the other side of the couch, his legs on the table, “Does the little Alpha want to see you in secret or what? I tell you that girl is cunning.”Mark supports Nolan, “The proposal that humans offered to us is nothing but a piece of cake to the Alpha. Although Mason’s part was rather demanding, he even asked that the Alpha pay taxes for just existing.”“What do you think, Leo?” Nolan asks, “I know you’re patient but those bunch sure argue a lot. You should go with your Beta.”“I have a feeling… I will go alone.”Nolan regards me with an understanding expression, “If you have that feeling then you should go.”“What feeling?” Mark is confused, looking between us. I ruffled his hair, rushing out. Unlike the first locati
Leo“Do you have everything you need?”Ethan bobs his head as he puts on his seatbelt, “Yes Alpha.”I drove him slowly to the airport, sighing for a hundred times already. My fingers absentmindedly drums on the steering wheel as I tried not to think about my mate.I bit my nail seriously, watching the side mirror here and then.“How did your proposal go, Alpha.”“I didn’t stay for the final part to hear theirs, I will look at it later.”“I told you I would go to the airport alone but you insisted I called you, I told you I would leave in a week but you tipped the Luna about it and I stayed two weeks more. Now my departure clashes with your schedule, you had to leave your meeting for me.”“I don’t mind doing that, I want to be the one to see you off. I need to make sure you get on that plane safely.”“He was there at the meeting, was he not?”“Um.”“No wonder you are so breathless, your heart is bleeding from beating too fast, Alpha. I haven’t seen you have such restlessness for a whil
MasonTwo weeks had passed by faster than I thought. The year is also coming to an end which means it has been a month since I last saw Leo. It’s been a month since he last kissed me, since he last touched me. I ran my fingers all over my thighs, goosebumps electrifying my entire body as I stared at my naked self in the mirror. It been so long since Leo had fucked me. A month had passed since he last caressed me, sucked my nipples and played with them. He is always so big, so intense when he drives inside me, the way he pounds me hard and fast.A quiet moan escapes me as I shut my eyes. What am I doing? I’m supposed to be styling my hair, wearing the clothes I prepared for the Parliament meeting. I need to look good and be an eye -candy because Leo is going to be there.I was a little too excited when Helen texted me that Leo had agreed to meet up. We were going to see each other again, after a month. I’m supposed to be preparing for the meeting but it is so itchy down there. I wan
Mason“Thank you so much for coming, Helen,” I walked her out to the car, feeling grateful for her presence and support. My father’s funeral was over an hour ago but she still stuck around with me. Raphael left a while ago because he had a lot of influx of patient’s waiting for him, his phone didn’t stop vibrating.“I’m just grateful that I don’t have to console you,” She pats my shoulder, “You’re strong.”I let out a tired sigh, my shoulders slumping, “I don’t think so, I still dream of my father. I still watch his fist hit me, I don’t know… I hated him so much but I also loved and respected him. I wanted to get his approval all my life but all of the sudden I just couldn’t take it anymore. I was so angry, so…”“Mason,” She rubs my shoulders slowly, “He is dead now and he is never coming back. Having a father like that must have been so hard on you so don’t think so much about it.”“I won’t,” I agree with her, opening my arms to show that I want to hug her but I don’t look at her. Wh
Leo“Alpha, you have a visitor,” My Beta Mark announces, knocking on my office door slowly. I folded the paper in my hands into a square and placed a stamp on it before putting it in an envelope.“Send them away,” I rub my forehead, hating that I’m being disturbed. I haven’t been receiving visitors since I’m currently rebuilding the Pack. A lot of people are coming from everywhere, to show their support, to drink tea and tour around the now historical city.A city where the fierce fight between humans and Werewolves took place. The place where the Alpha was almost murdered by his own mate.“I tried, Alpha. But she has been waiting in the car for over five hours. She is persistent.”“Who is she?”“The late governor’s daughter, Helen Roberto.”I began to twirl the biro between my fingers, spinning it easily as I thought about the information Mark told me two days ago. She is an Alpha who just began her first year of college in Lauderhill top university. The same school as Zena. She does
