Trixie POV

We returned from the mall to find Jerica waiting on the front porch for us. I completely forgot she was coming by today to keep me company. I gave her a gentle smile as we got out of the car. She rolled her eyes and then smiled back.

Standing up and following up inside. "I am - " "No need. Its all good. I was busy until about 20 minutes ago anyway." Jerica just smiled. I nodded.

"You girls ready to whip it up in the kitchen?" Alana teased me. "Oh, you already know mom is ready to challenge you again for the cook off?" Jerica teased her. "I am sure she is." Alana giggled. "I need to know this story." I tell them.

They both chuckle. "You will soon enough. Our annual cook soup off off is in the winter. You will likely be a judge this year. Better I not taint you to my side now or Melissa will be ready to fight me." Alana smiles. "Alright, alright. Lets whip something up together." We followed her into the kitchen. We made some homemade lasagna and popcorn and ending up spen

The grand hall of the Blood Moon pack house buzzed with life. Members filled the space, their voices weaving into a melodic hum of conversation and laughter. The long wooden dining tables were decorated with glowing lanterns, plates of steaming food, and pitchers of spiced cider. It was the first dinner in a long while where the mood felt celebratory.Trevor stood at the head of the largest table, Trixie at his side, radiating warmth and quiet excitement. He raised his hand, and gradually, the room quieted."Thank you all for coming tonight," Trevor began, his voice clear and commanding, yet laced with pride. "We have a few special guests and a celebration to acknowledge."He turned slightly toward Alice, who sat at the table just beside them. Her expression was calm but her eyes sparkled with gratitude. "I’d like you all to officially welcome Alice, who has joined the Blood Moon pack."Cheers erupted from the pack members. Clapping, whistling, and howls of welcome echoed off the wall

Thomas sat stiffly on the edge of the couch in Dr. Haynes' quiet office, arms crossed, gaze locked on a spot just left of the window. Rain tapped gently against the glass, a soft rhythm that did nothing to settle the storm inside him. Dr. Haynes sat across from him, notebook in her lap, eyes gentle but focused."Thomas," she said gently, tapping her pen once against the page. "Last session, you said something interesting about how nothing seems to matter. I wanted to ask—why do you think that is? Why do you feel that no one cares?"Thomas’s jaw clenched. He looked away for a moment, lips pressing into a hard line. Then he exhaled sharply, his chest rising and falling with restrained force. "Because they don’t," he said bitterly. "Why would they? What’s the point in pretending like this is different?" Dr. Haynes tilted her head slightly, encouraging him silently. His voice cracked as the words burst out: "I’ve been captured and tortured more times than I can count. Every time, it’s the

For the first time in weeks, Trixie, Abby, Janet, and Jerica walked into school without a guard trailing behind them. No Jake. No Joe. Just the four girls, feeling a sense of freedom and normalcy they hadn’t experienced in a couple weeks. "I almost forgot what it felt like to walk to class without looking over my shoulder for one of Trevor's overgrown bodyguards," Abby joked, slinging her bag over her shoulder."Speak for yourself," Jerica smirked thinking of Jake. "I kinda miss the eye candy." Trixie rolled her eyes, but she couldn’t help the smile tugging at her lips. It did feel good to have a normal day. At lunch, the four of them took their usual spot at the far table in the back of the cafeteria. The chatter buzzed around them, but they were in their own little world.Abby leaned in, lowering her voice just enough to be coy. "Sooo... I've been texting Joe." Trixie's eyebrows lifted. "Really?" "Mmhmm," Abby grinned. "Nothing serious, but he's funny and not bad to look at. Plus, y

The heavy door to Trevor’s office swung open, and Joe stepped inside, flanked by a figure draped in shadows—a young she-wolf, wrists bound but eyes sharp and defiant.“Alpha,” Joe said, nodding respectfully. “This is Laura.” Trevor’s gaze flicked to the woman, taking in her worn leather jacket, the wildness in her eyes with a brokenness as well. She hadn’t been tamed by captivity. She shifted, head held high despite the situation. The wildness came from her wolf being rogue. Once a part of the pack, that piece of her would return back to normal.Melissa stepped forward, arms crossed. “You sure about bringing her here? You want me to handle her?” Trevor didn’t hesitate. “Yes. Melissa, she’s going under your wing now. Teach her the ways of the Blood Moon Pack. Give her a chance to prove she’s not a threat.” Eric’s jaw tightened beside them. “You’re trusting a rogue? ” Trevor’s voice was steady, but firm. “This isn’t about blind trust. It’s about the future. If she can survive thirty day

Thomas sat stiffly in the high-backed chair tucked into the quiet corner of the library at the Blood Moon pack house. Floor-to-ceiling windows cast filtered light across the richly stained bookshelves, the scent of old leather and paper mingling with the faint aroma of cedarwood. Across from him, seated with a notepad resting gently on one knee, was Dr. Hayes, a calm, middle-aged woman with intelligent gray eyes behind silver-rimmed glasses."Thomas, let's start simple today," she said gently, her voice like a soft breeze. "Tell me how you've been feeling since waking up."He shrugged, arms crossed, gaze fixed on a spot somewhere behind her shoulder. "Fine."Dr. Hayes nodded patiently. "Fine can mean a lot of things. Confused, angry, scared, numb."He didn’t respond."When you think about what happened before the coma, does anything come back clearly?"Thomas shifted in his chair, his jaw tightening. "Not really.""What about dreams? Nightmares? Flashbacks?""Nope."Dr. Hayes tilted h

Trevor stepped out first, instantly alert, scanning the area as Joe and Eric flanked him. Trixie followed, her eyes wide as she took in the sprawling estate. It wasn’t as tall as Trevor’s pack house, but it was broader, fortified, and surrounded by thick forest. The massive front doors opened, revealing a tall, broad-shouldered man with sandy blond hair and a sharp jaw. He wore a navy shirt that clung to his muscular build, his posture confident and authoritative. Beside him stood a graceful woman with auburn hair and kind green eyes, her hand resting lightly on his arm.“Alpha Trevor,” the man greeted, voice deep and steady.“Welcome to the Ironclaw Pack. I’m Alpha Brock, and this is my mate, Luna Rachel.” Trevor stepped forward, shaking his hand firmly. “Thank you for having us.” Brock’s beta, a wiry man with intelligent eyes and a lopsided grin, appeared at his side. “This is my Beta, Kyle,” Brock said. Kyle nodded in greeting.Brock gestured toward the massive entryway. “Come in. L
