Trevor's point of view

I woke up to hearing Trixie lightly snoring on my chest. She looked so peaceful and sweet. I kissed the top of her head lightly knowing I had business to attend to. I gently slid her off on my chest and tucked the blanket around her. I grabbed some sweat pants and a black tee shirt and tennis shoes. I looked over at Trix one more time. I have to go. I am doing this to protect her. That is all the motivation I needed.

I headed down the stairs and Eric, my Beta was waiting along with Joseph, my Gamma as well as Jake. I nodded to them all and said, "Morning." They nodded and returned the sentiment. "Let's go get some answers." I told them and headed out the pack house door and went to the cells across the property to get some information on why the Rogues where attacking. They all followed me except Jake who went to guard Trixie. I would not leave her unprotected again.

One Gamma stood outside. One Gamma stood inside at the top of the stairs and another Gamma out

Trevor POVThe morning light filtered softly through the curtains, casting a warm golden glow across Trixie's sleeping form. I hadn’t slept much. All night, I had held her close, listening to the rhythm of her breathing, watching the furrow of her brows soften with time. Her vision still haunted me. The voice. The blood. The threat. But right now, she looked peaceful, curled against me like she belonged there. Like we were exactly where we were meant to be.She stirred slightly, her lashes fluttering before her eyes blinked open and met mine. “Morning,” she whispered, her voice still thick with sleep. I smiled, brushing my fingers down her bare arm. “Morning, baby.”She stretched, arching slightly, and I groaned quietly as the sheets slipped down, revealing smooth skin and curves I would never get enough of. Her body molded against mine like it had been made for me. And maybe it had been. “We have time,” I murmured, leaning in to press a kiss to her shoulder. “Let me take care of you.

Trevor POVTrixie trembled against me, her breaths shallow and shaky as I wrapped my arms around her. We stood just outside the guest room door, the weight of her vision settling over us like a dense fog. Her hands clutched at my shirt, fingers twisting the fabric as she tried to calm herself."It's okay, baby. I've got you," I whispered, pressing my lips to the top of her head. My heart pounded in my chest, anger and worry warring within me. Whoever this voice was—whatever threat it posed—they would not touch her.Alice appeared in the doorway, her face pale. Thomas was right behind her, eyes narrowed with concern. "What happened? Was that a vision?"Trixie stayed quiet, still catching her breath, so I answered for her. "Yes."Alice took a step closer, her voice gentle but laced with urgency. "Is this common for her? How often does she have them? Are they always this intense? Do they always come true?"Thomas added, his tone more clipped, "How long has she been having these visions?

Trevor POVThe call came just after breakfast. I stepped out onto the back deck of the pack house, letting the early autumn sun hit my face as I answered. Eric’s voice came through, calm and steady, but with a note of relief."Alpha, Thomas’s test results are back. Everything looks normal, physically. His vitals, reflexes, bloodwork—he’s healing well."I nodded, even though he couldn’t see me. "And the mental health eval?"Eric paused before continuing, "He’s showing clear signs of PTSD. Not surprising, considering everything. But the doctors think he’s stable enough to begin outpatient therapy."I exhaled slowly, tension easing from my shoulders. I had suspected as much. "Set up a therapist to start working with him here, at the pack house. He’ll need a calm environment, structure, familiarity.""Already in motion," Eric confirmed. "I’m with them now. We’re packing their things. Alice is helping. They’ll be ready to leave in twenty.""Good. Let me know when you're on the road. We’ll

Trixie POVI nodded without saying a word, my throat too tight with emotion to speak. My father—Thomas—stared at me as if trying to memorize every detail of my face, like he couldn’t believe I was really standing in front of him. His dark blonde hair was tousled, his expression raw and vulnerable. A lifetime missed, stolen by circumstances neither of us could control. He opened his mouth again, trying to form words, but none came. Instead, his eyes moved to Trevor, standing at my right side with quiet strength. My father studied him with an intensity that made my skin prickle. Then his gaze shifted again—past Trevor—and landed on Alice. "Alice," he whispered. Her sad smile was filled with relief and pain all at once. She stepped forward, and he reached for her, their hands grasping with trembling fingers, before she leaned in and hugged him gently. "You saved me," he murmured against her hair. "Thank you. Are you alright?" She nodded, pulling back slightly. "I will be. I was hurt too,

Trixie POVThe last couple of days had been surprisingly uneventful. Jake and Joe stuck to the same routine: drive Jerica and me to school, stick close to our classes, and drive us back home. They stayed alert but relaxed, their presence starting to blend into our normal school day. Joe, of course, continued to flirt with Abby at every opportunity. At lunch, Abby practically glowed every time Joe walked by. He’d sit near us, make a joke, wink at her, and she’d twirl her hair like she was in a cheesy romantic comedy. Janet, meanwhile, rolled her eyes so hard I was sure she was going to pull something."You'd think she never saw a guy before," Janet mumbled one day as Abby giggled at some ridiculous line Joe fed her about being her knight in shining armor. Jerica and I just exchanged knowing looks. It was harmless... and honestly, Joe looked happier lately. But today was Friday, and next week was fall break. Originally, we had big plans—bonfires, pumpkin patches, and maybe a movie marat

Trixie POVThe early morning light filtered through the trees as Jerica and I climbed into the back of the black SUV. Jake was already in the driver’s seat, his sunglasses on and jaw tense, while Joe lounged in the passenger seat with a devil-may-care smirk. Very upbeat considering his temper lately."Everyone ready for a riveting day of school security?" Joe asked, glancing over his shoulder. "As ready as I’ll ever be," I muttered. Jerica stifled a yawn. "I still can’t believe we have guards going to class with us. This is next-level overkill."Jake grunted. "Trevor’s orders. Not taking any chances." Joe chuckled. "Besides, we’re not just guards. We’re your charming, rugged, overly protective escorts." Jerica rolled her eyes. "More like body shadows."The drive was quiet after that, filled only with the low rumble of the engine and the occasional pop song from the radio. When we arrived at school, we filed out like some kind of strange entourage. Jake and Joe flanked us as we walked
