Celeste and Zillon walked downstairs side by side to the sweet smell of meat balls and what they were sure was spaghetti.
Around the table, Gregory and Celine already sat, both watching as the beautiful couple approached. "I see you people have finally started to look like soulmates."
"Shut up, mom." Zillon grumbled, taking his seat alongside her. He patted the seat next to him, non-verbally telling Celeste to sit there.
With little to no hesitance, she did, ankles crossing as she looked up at Zillon's parents. "Goodmorning."
"Morning sweetheart." They both replied in unison, Gregory's face lighting up like a Christmas tree. "You're one to always remember your manners Celeste, but let me ask, why are you not sitting beside your father-in-law this morning?"
