ISABEL POV

As I gently left, careful not to make a sound that would alert Theodrin that I was there. I picked up some pace when I felt I was clear, hoping to get to an environment where I could clear my head.

I was not sure where I was or where I was headed, I only knew that I needed to get away. Not from Alpha Xavier, him I will always love until the end of times, but what he had said about my father had shocked me to my bone marrow. And witnessing two of his most trusted subjects betray him was a bitter pill to swallow.

I walked on, living in my head and not really sure about anything until I heard someone touch me from behind, startling me in the process. "Are you sure you know where you are going?" The soft and beautiful voice asked.
