Chapter Seventeen

"How do you guys communicate with each other?" Sarah asks Katrina while they're having breakfast.

She'd sent for Katrina that morning and it was just five minutes later that the message was delivered. She had never seen a phone or any telecommunication device since she got there, but they always seemes to be able to reach each other in time.

Katrina wraps her hand around a thin band on her wrists and a small screen pops up. It has an interface like that of an android phone.

"Everyone has a unique code that we input and save in this, we call it a strapcom, all we have to do is click the saved code and we get connected to who we want to speak with. Were you able to do that in your former world?" Katrina asks her.

"Yes, we make use of a phone though. It's a small rectangular device. Like you guys, we also have a code we save, it's usually numbers, so we click and connect like you too. We can do other things with phones though," Sarah answers.
