Violet's pov

Elia's revelation stunned me in such a way that it shook up everything within me. It seemed the more I stayed in Xaden's pack, the more things were opening up to me.

I knew there was more to Mama than she was letting on. If Mama had such abilities, then why did it vanish? Why did she let it go?

Why was it taken from her? I'm positive it involved Xaden.

Wait a minute! Mama mentioned something about Xaden failing her... Does it involve her loss of abilities?

What was going on? It seems the more I know, the more questions I have.

If mama had such abilities, why didn't I possess even one? Besides, the fact that I don't even possess any ability at all even though Mama once wielded much authority is enough to confirm that I was cursed.

It seemed that underneath Mama's suave, there was this sadness. Now that I thought of it, Mama looked like she was once very vibrant. But now, it's as though she didn't care, and wants to be isolated. What could be going on in mama's head?

    Violet's pov"He's here." Hunter voiced."Who? Xaden?" I asked in bewilderment.His eyes locked with mine for a moment. "Aye."
