Violet's pov

The day had finally arrived. The day where I and Xaden will finally be joined by the moon, blood, and soul.

After the ritual to awaken the spirit of the claws, everyone had been tense and frantic, awaiting the day where everything would be sealed. So far, we haven't heard any news of the cannibals and rogues rampaging our grounds. Thank heavens.

It was as though they went to sleep. However, danger still loomed. The spirit of the claw is wandering around, wading off the cannibals. Still, the pack is in danger of releasing the claws to wander loose, knowing its implications to the pack.

To prevent any harm, the Makili elders had provided a wrist band for every pack members both old and young, heavily soaked with rituals and spells to keep the spirit of the claws at bay.

Ever since, Xaden had been unsettled, sleeping in the hall with his men, rounding the grounds and keeping night watches.
