Old memories return:
Ji’lahni’s POV:
“Are you ready?” Makahi asked me as we pulled to a stop where my granny’s house used to be, where I lost everything. I nodded my head, because I couldn't speak, the emotions that were threatening to bulldoze out of my entire body would definitely come out if I try to speak. You know the kind of grief that take control of your body until it feels like you’re having an outta body experience. That’s how it feels, how I knew it would feel, which is why we never came back here. People deal with grief the best way they can. There is no right or wrong way, it just is what it is. After all these years the frame of the house was still there but everything else was gone, some of the walls in the back was still standing, the steps where we used to play and used as a home base for every game we ever played. In the back yard there used to be cows, pigs, chickens
Crystal Moon Pack Antoni’s POV: “Alpha there are 3 black SUV’s at the gate demanding entry. It looks like a few council members along with The Elders.” The warrior at the entry gate Mind linked me. “What the hell are they doing here?” Lateri and Mylan asked, coming into the dining room with Tru and Teri in their arms. “I have no idea there was no appointment request sent, asking for a meeting.” I said, deep in thought. I had checked all emails, signed all paperwork that Kahi left in his office. “Just send them to the pack house conference room and have one of the Omegas make refreshments and delivery it to the conference room. We’ll be there shortly.” I mind linked the warrior. “We’re all going to go; I’ll drop the girls and Razor off with the omegas at the pack house. Something is going on and I don’t think we will like it.” Lateri said as she grabbed the twins’ diaper bags. “I’ll get Razor and meet you there.” I said, heading to the room where the little pup was playing. I w
Conference room’s POV: continued. “What the hell is this all about Leo?! Why are you doing this? You know that the dark one walks among us. Why aren’t you focusing on finding him? why are you here maddingly in werewolf business? The dragon protectors don’t act like this, You are causing us to look weak and petty.” Mylan spat out in anger at her son. They have never been close, he always thought she favored his younger brother Lyonn. Even when he was chosen as an elder, she still didn’t treat him the way she treated his little brother. He foolishly thought when he was killed during the dragon war that they would somehow become close. But their relationship actually got worse. So eventually, he just gave up trying to please his mother; or waiting for her to show him the love that she had shown his little brother. That is also why he has never gotten to know the youngest of his brother’s children Lynndoria. She was a spitting image of his brother. His mother loved all her grandchi
Where is Mina?Mina’s POV: Listen I know me, and my cousin talk big shit all the time. But right now, a bitch scared, down here in these cells. I’m surrounded by vampires who are hissing outside these cell bars trying to get in. I never thought I would be in a situation where I would say, hey I’m glad to be locked up. That’s how you know shit is fucked up. I wish somebody would have a free Mina shirt on, I would cut that bitch like do you not see these fucking vampires outside these bars. Go sit yo ass down somewhere. “Out! if the lord finds any of you down here he will kill you all!” I heard the one they call Gregor yell. The vampires quickly blurred away from the cell. I breathe a sigh of relief even though they couldn’t get through the cell bars, I wasn’t going to let my guard down either. I had been using my dragon tattoo to kill several vampires who just looked like shit warmed over. I feel like those were mercy killings because who the fuck would want to end up like that.
Dradon’s POV: I had been circling the skies waiting for Kat to make her move and find out where Mina was being held. I was getting anxious; It was taking longer than I thought it would. I was hoping that I could find Mina and the wolf somewhere in the forest. But she had been taken by the vampires. They took her to the witch’s castle!” Kat said into my mind. I immediately circled the group and headed towards the castle. I glanced down at the group and saw Lynn look up at me with narrowed eyes and Kat ran to the group with vampires on her tail. That gave me enough time to get to the castle and get Mina outta here and away from Lynn and her cousin, Lynn would kill me before she allowed me to mate with Mina.Lynn’s POV: “Shit! I should have known they were up to something.” I said, as I hopped on Montego, and we took off running in the direction of the castle. Kat came running out of the woods with a dozen of vampires on her tail. She tried to put on a good show of fight
Is that smoke?Lynn’s POV: “Is that smoke up ahead?” My sister asked. I looked into the sky and saw black smoke. “NO, no, no, no, this can’t be happening again. Why the fuck would he set the castle on fire knowing Mina was still inside somewhere?” Ji’lahni asked as she started breathing Heavily, panic setting in at the sight of the black smoke clouding the sky. Tears were falling from her eyes, no doubt reliving what happen to her family, and what could be happening to Mina right now. All the wolves felt their Luna’s sorrow and that made them push themselves harder. The let out a deafening howl and they all double their speed. When we made it to the castle it was up in flames, with Dradon still in his dragon form. There was Two vampires attached to his dragon, attacking him using their speed to claw at his eye trying to cause as much damage as they could. They were definitely causing damage if the screeching and the uncontrollably flames coming from him was a clue. “We have to
Unknown’s POV: For the last few years no one has ever visited the old house. But today three black SUVS were parked in front of the house, several people got out of the car and entered the unstable structure. I couldn’t see who they were or how many people went in from my position. Maybe they were looking around to buy the property. I didn’t know but I will find out. I needed to get closer to get a better look, I needed to know who those people were that went into the house. May be they knew who lived here before it burned down. I have no idea why I was drawn here, but I couldn’t leave until I found out why. Another car came speeding down the street and came to an abrupt halt in the middle of the street. Two bulky man hopped out of the car in a panic they talked to the men in the car before they raced into the structure. It looks like something is about to go down, what? I don’t know but I guess I will find out as soon as the others come out of the house.Makahi’s POV:
Razor’s POV: I was afraid, but I couldn’t let the girls see me crying. I’m a big boy, I have to make sure they are safe Walahni said it was my job. I don’t know why the men in black came and took us away. But I heard one of them say that they are taking us to a laborterry or something like that. I don’t know what that is, but it doesn’t sound like fun. I have to keep the girls safe Wa’lahni said I am pose to protect them, I been training every day, so I can grow up to be strong, like alpha Makahi. I need to be a big boy now. “Don’t worry, no one is going to hurt us I promise. I will get us out of here and back home, with mom and dad.” I said to the babies as they looked up at me. They were strapped in little buckets chairs, with me in the middle I held both their tiny hands as we drove away from home. They started to whimpered, the further we got away from our pack. Ji’lahni’s POV: “What the fuck Makahi? Why do all these people want to take our babies? Why can’t they
Ji’lahni’s POV: “EVERYBODY DOWN! PROTECT THE WOMEN!” MAKAHI SAID, AS HE PUSHED ME TO THE BACK OF THE STUDIO. “WAIT A DAMN MINUTE! WE NEED TO PROCTECT OCEAN!” I SCREAMED. “You are our first priority, baby no one else.” Makahi said, as he tried to survey the area where the windows were broken. “Well, you do that while I protect my friend.” I said grabbing, Ocean’s hand pulling her to the back with me. “What the hell is going on Lahni? Why are we being attacked?” Ocean asked looking around trying to see what was going on. “Look we can’t explain anything now just stay down don’t move from this spot. The men will handle whatever is out there ok.” I said, grabbing Ocean’s shoulders so we were eye to eye. She nodded her head in understanding. “Alpha, we spotted at least ten men, they are surrounding us, blocking the exits.” One of the warriors said coming in from one of the other rooms. ‘Looks like we are fighting our way out of here.” Makahi said, I could tell he was mind linking t
