ALPHA JEFFREY

The moment the warrior burst into the cavern announcing the palace was under attack again, my blood turned to ice. I didn’t even wait for Rowan or Charlotte, I shifted instantly, my bones snapping, fur bursting across my skin as my wolf surged forward. I tore out of the underground tunnel with a snarl ripping from my throat. I ran with every ounce of strength in my body, the earth blurring beneath my paws. I could hear Rowan’s heavy strides behind me and Charlotte’s breathless footsteps as she pushed herself to keep up.

Smoke smeared the sky in thick, ugly swirls . Rage burned through me hotter than fire.
