Ares and Carson dragged Smith inside while the group of red wolves stayed outside in their wolf forms.

When I was about to follow them, I felt a slight nudge on my shoulder. Ripley's eyes pierced into mine for a moment. It would be so much easier if we could mind link.

I wanted to continue my path, but Ripley nudged me again and slowly walked away. Did he want me to follow him?

“Well, if you don’t I will,” Rhys' voice echoed inside my mind while I felt her take over.

I let her have the lead and watched closely where we were going. Soon we were surrounded by dozens of red wolves, all going in the same direction. I hadn’t had the chance yet to get acquainted with the forest surrounding the cottage. I know why Ares and Carson didn’t want me to go outside. I understood the danger.

After around twenty minutes, we arrived at a clearing. Everywhere I looked, I saw red wolves. It seemed they were waiting for something.
