Jamie POV

Carson handed me his shirt when I reluctantly left Ares's lap. The pout that formed made a small laugh escape from both of them.

“Just wait, little wolf. When everyone leaves, we are going to enjoy the restored mate bond to the fullest,” Ares said while his eyes were filled with mischief and lust.

His words made a shiver move down my spine and my core flutter in anticipation. Carson’s eyes flickered to his wolf when the scent of my arousal surrounded us. My eyes wandered over his now bare chest and I bit my bottom lip unintentionally. An act that didn’t go unnoticed.
