Lydia Richmond's POV

I knew Alpha Quinn didn't like this at all. It seemed that I had forgotten the true Alpha Quinn. He was usually ruthless and I could only hope that he wasn't back to his previous self.

I had to tread cautiously and carefully or else, I would get hurt. I needed no one to tell me this fact.

“I wasn't the one who started it,” I began to explain. “If you heard from the maids, the fight happened in this room. It simply means that she trespassed. I won't go to her room and beat her up!”

“Firstly, she didn't trespass,” Alpha Quinn told me carefully. “She is my rightful mate and the Luna of this Pack and this is my room. She could choose to come in at anytime. If you didn't want to be disturbed, you could have closed the door!”

I sighed. I was finally getting to understand what Kayla was trying to say. No matter how Alpha Quinn acted like he loved me, he still had Beatrice in his mind. I was thoroughly jealous and I felt like I was being used.

Perhaps, I was being used.
