" I see you're a man who does not know of the word' please'." Adamo transferred me a pointed look as he let go of Luca. When I just goggled back at him, after a moment he let out a laugh.

" I like you. The last joe we had in our cell before you came was a complete gumshoe."

" What happed to him?" Adamo shook his head as we came to stop again.

" Marco killed him during the night for using his toothpaste." My eyes widened as he goggled at me with a serious expression until the two of them burst out laughing.

" I am kidding, he got transferred. But really, do not use Marco's toothpaste." He refocused at me as he said the last bit before we started walking again.

By the time we got to the phones Adamo had made about five further jokes which in a way I was thankful for since I was not allowing about the reality of the situation too much.
