Chapter Seven 

Keisha's Pov 

Sophia looks at me expectantly, waiting for me to tell her my news. While I grinned I said, "Adrian just asked me out on a date! Can you help me get ready?" Sophia's eyes widen in excitement as she exclaims, 

"Oh my gosh! Of course I'll help you get ready! This is so exciting!"

Sophia helps me get ready by suggesting different outfits and hairstyles. We both have fun trying things on and taking pictures of my different looks. We even used Snapchat's Dress Up feature to try on virtual clothing and accessories. 

After much deliberation, we finally settled on the perfect outfit and hairstyle. I feel so confident and excited as I get ready to go on my first date ever and with my mate.

Sophia suggests that I wear a light blue sundress with a pair of strappy sandals. She thinks that the dress will look great on your complexion and the sandals will make my legs look longer. She also suggests that I wear my hair in loose waves and put on some light makeup to accentuate my features.

 I try on the outfit and Sophia takes a few pictures of me to send to Adrian. We both laugh and have fun trying on different accessories, like earrings and necklaces. After a while, we finally settled on a pair of pearl earrings and a simple gold bracelet.

It’s eight and the doorbell rings indicating that Adrian is here. I'm so excited, I’m so excited I can't wait, I can’t wait as I go down to meet him.

“Wow, you look very gorgeous” 

Thanks, I replied while blushing.

“Are you ready to go” Adrian asked 

I nodded eagerly, and we headed out the door. We decided to go to a nearby amusement park, and we spent the whole day going on rides and playing games. We laughed and screamed together as we rode the roller coasters and played carnival games.

As the sun began to set, we decided to take a break and get some food. We found a cute little restaurant nearby and sat down to eat. We talked and laughed as we enjoyed our meal, and we felt like we were really connecting.

After dinner, we went back to the amusement park and rode the Ferris wheel. We sat together in the little car and watched as the lights of the park twinkled below us. We talked and laughed as we enjoyed the view.

“Do you want some ice cream?” Adrian asked 

Yes sure I could really use something cold.

We got to the ice cream truck. I got the strawberry flavor and he got the chocolate mint.

“So, strawberry?” He looked at me while licking his ice cream.

So, chocolate mint? It’s sour, it tastes like toothpaste, I said at the same time.

“How can you not like chocolate mint?”

Hey don’t come at me 

“Chocolate mint is really refreshing”

Yeah almost feels like washing your teeth.

I had obviously opened up to him much more now and we are getting along pretty well. It is almost as if we have known each other for years.

We continued talking about our interests and hobbies, and we found out we have a lot in common.

After liking our ice cream, we decided to head to the lake to take a boat ride. We rent a small rowboat and take turns rowing. We talk and laugh as we enjoy the peacefulness of the water.

After the boat ride, we went back to the amusement park and rode the Ferris wheel. We sat together in the little car and watched as the lights of the park twinkled below us. We talked and laughed as we enjoyed the view.

We went on more rides and played more games. We had so much fun that we lost track of time. Suddenly, we realized that the park was closing and we had to leave.

We walked back to the house, holding hands and talking about the wonderful day we had. When we got to my room, Adrian leaned in and kissed me gently on my cheeks. We smiled at each other, we hugged and said goodnight.

I go inside my room, feeling very happy and excited about today and about the future. This is my first date ever and it was very perfect.

I go to the bathroom to do my business and I head straight to bed.

Waking up by the sound of my alarm clock, I go to the bathroom and take my bath getting ready for the day. Today I plan on making breakfast waffles with strawberries and syrup, before Adrian especially wakes up and I have a lot to gist with Sophia because I know she wouldn’t let this slide.

Heading to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for him before he woke up. I want to surprise him with my cooking skills, and I know so well he would love it. I went to the kitchen and started making waffles with strawberries and syrup.

As I’m cooking, I thought about how much I have to tell Sophia about my date with Adrian. I know she would be excited to hear all the details. I couldn't wait to see her and share my experience with her.

After I finished cooking, I heard the sound of footsteps descending the stairs. Turning around as I felt strong arms wrap around me.

“Good morning sunshine, this smells very delicious and I know it will taste heavenly. But I didn’t know you knew how to cook.”

Good morning, sleepyhead! I made breakfast for us." He looked up at me with a smile on his face and said, "Wow, you're amazing! These waffles look delicious, it’s been a long time since I had them.”

We both sat down to eat and talked about how much fun I had the day before right before Leo and Sophia came down for breakfast, Adrian smiled and said, "I'm glad you had a good time. I did too."

After breakfast, everyone thanked me and I was very happy they all enjoyed it.

“Adrian, do you mind if I borrow Keisha for a while?” Sophia asked and I knew I was in for it.

“Sure no problem for now I’ve a pack meeting to attend with Leo when I’m back she’s all mine, I’ll see you later sunshine.” Adrian said as he kissed my forehead as I and Sophia headed upstairs to her room.

I’m so excited to tell Sophia about my date with Adrian that I can barely contain myself.

“So girl tell me everything, and everything I mean from the beginning to the end with details” Sophia said and I laughed.

So yesterday was really amazing, it was my first date ever and it was perfect and I’m not saying this because it’s my first, but because I know it was perfect.

Sophia was thrilled so I told her about how I and Adrian went to the park and had a picnic, and how we both talked about our hopes and dreams for the future. I also told her about how Adrian leaned in and kissed me gently on the cheek when we got back to my room.

Sophia squealed with delight and said, "Oh my gosh, that's so cute! I'm so happy for you!From the first day I saw you I knew you were the one for my brother.” I couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm.

We both talked for a while longer, and I could tell that Sophia was genuinely happy for me. I felt so grateful to have a friend like her who was always there to support me.

As I went back to my room to rest for a while before Adrian got back I felt a sense of excitement and anticipation about what the future held for I and Adrian. I know that I have found something special with him, and I can’t  wait to see where my relationship will go.

Waking up by the sound of his voice, “hey sunshine do you mind taking a walk with me?” Sure I will love to, I said to him as I got out of bed.

Adrian and I decided to go for a walk in the park. We walked hand in hand, enjoying the beautiful weather and each other's company. As we walked, I talked about my hopes and dreams for the future. I felt like we were really connecting with one another on a deeper level.

As the day went on, we continued to have fun and enjoy each other's company. I knew that I had found something special with Adrian, and I couldn't wait to see where your relationship would go.

As we got back home we stood outside my room as I hugged him. Hugging him I felt him nuzzle in my neck, he was so close that I could feel his lips ghosting over my neck, and then he kissed me, I was almost hyperventilating I was losing my sanity I had left, my hands clinged onto his jacket for support. He hummed slowly, sending shivers and vibration through my body.

Pulling apart so I can get some oxygen into my system, I smiled at him and said goodnight.

Laying on my bed with a content smile on my face, I couldn’t believe it. I just had my first kiss and it was magical. As I got prepared to sleep something very hot ran up my body making me release a loud scream as I fell to the floor.
