Drexa's Plan

I waited nervously for Rebecca to return. My wish came through when the front door opened and she walked in.

"Your plan worked." She said with a smile. "But Drexa is indeed callous."

My smile faded at her words. "What did she do?"

"She planned to use the dead vampires to threaten me. She knows very well two of them had their brains melted so it's inevitably the work of a witch, yet, she planned to pin it on me in order to get you. Or else, she'd go on a killing spree." Rebecca scoffed with a frown.

"Thankfully, you got there in time to stop them." I said hesitantly, afterall, my negligence made her put her lives and that of innocent humans at risk.

"Yes, but we still need to talk." Rebecca muttered, her eyes coming in contact with mine. "What deal did you have with Keller and where is she?"

"She said Drexa would discover her if she used magic. But there is a way to cloak her magic." I replied happily.
