Chapter 15

Alana's POV.

The breeze on the balcony was one of the best things this place has to offer. It was always soothing and pleasing to take a seat and read medical books up here.

Speaking of medical books, the library that I was allowed to use, as there are many others but they were restricted for who knows what reasons, had to have the best medical books in the shadow pack.

I was seated on a footstool, resting my arm on the cold rails of the metal walk guide, while my other hand was holding a health book about the lungs and, as a werewolf, major things that could hurt the lungs, either external or internal.

Enjoyable was the rejuvenating afternoon until I dipped my hands into the plate of cookies and saw it was finished. I headed back to my room to get some more.
