Alana's POV.

"And viola, you're ready for dinner." Aliya said from my back as she watched me from my reflection in the mirror.

She had a glint in her eyes, which confirmed to me that she wasn't pulling my legs.

"Thank you," I said and turned to her, using the rotation on the leather chair in front of my dresser.

In a brief moment, she closed her eyes and gave me the sweetest of all the smiles she could summon.

"I appreciate your help. You indeed saved me once again. I love the dress." I said and stared at my reflection again.

I was in a dark red gown that streamed down my petite frame. Its material and designs are simple, as was its flare too, but it also showed elegance, and because of its cut, from the thigh of my right leg down to my feet was exposed.

"Anytime, Alana."

I stood up and went to pull her into a hug. I knew she needed it. It was night and after she left here, she would go back to the maids quarters, where she would meet Lucy once again.
