Chapter Nine

By the time Arya opened her eyes, meeting the familiar room décor and warm feeling, she realized that she was in her room and relief washed through her before she froze again. Memories of the previous night rushed into her head and Arya managed to seat on the bed praying that whatever might have happened was a dream. Just as she was thinking, there was knock on her room door.

“Come in” Arya muttered quietly. The door opened and her mother let herself in with her dad behind her.

“Hey baby girl” her mom started walking to her to hug her but Arya was quick to shrink away from her freezing her mother in place.

“Who are you? Where have you hidden my mom?” Arya shot at her mom and seeing the hurt flash through her mother’s eyes, she swallowed her saliva and turned to her Dad.

“Dad, something weird really happened yesterday. Something really weird” Arya started darting glances at her mom.

“Things weird as you seeing humans morph into wolves and wolves morphing into humans right?” Her Dad ask
