A LESSON

CHAPTER FORTY-FIVE.

Tegan's heart had been in her throat the since the minute she walked out of castle building and saw her father's convoy lined up in the castle premises. She knew he had to come to clear the air about the secret daughter rumour and she was even more nervous because she had no idea how he intended to do that. He had told her the previous day that there was a plan, but he didn't tell her what the plan was and that's what she was curious about.

All she could do at the moment was pray and hope that whatever it was, it would be capable of clearing the rumour so she could be at peace in that castle. He was

very nervous and scared and she felt like any moment from now, someone would show up and have her arrested.

"This is driving me crazy." She whispered breathlessly as she peeked out of the window. The cars were still in place and there was no one else in the living room to watch her acting all nervous and frustrated.

About thirty minutes later, her father showed up by
