Chapter Six

The evening sun cast long shadows on the ground. The slanting rays of the setting sun gave a warm orange tinge to the sky.

The night crept up and the sun ducked down behind the buildings and under the fence, refracting golden hour through the alleys and illuminating the walls, the sky was ablaze with the fire of the setting sun.

The night sky was aglow with bright city lights and the occasional barking of faraway dogs broke the silence of the night.

Right inside the house was Kelsey, she was preparing the meal and doing the dishes at the same time.

Kelsey took a deep breath as she did her chores, she knew she would have to face the wrath of her sister's mate if she didn't finish up what she was doing before he got back.

Kelsey kept up with the dishes, she washed them as fast as she could so she would be able to meet up with the time which was fast ticking.

She heard the ding sound of the bell and ran to the door, she knew it would be her sister and her mate. She sighed before opening
