LOGINMadison’s POV
My head throbbed lightly when my body finally moved and my eyes finally opened. I recognized the white ceiling above my head and let out a soft sigh as the beeping sound of the machines surrounded me.
“Cedric.” I whispered as soon as I remembered his face and immediately sat up, my eyes scanning the room in panic.
I remembered everything now. He helped me get my memories back without even trying hard… My Cedric.
The door suddenly opened and I stood up at once, ready to run into his arms when the stranger from earlier who had called himself my husband walked in, making my mood sour immediately. What was with him? Who was he?
“You’re finally awake.” He muttered as he came to my side and I stepped away from him. “You had me so worried when you collapsed earlier. I brought you food—”
“Where is Cedric?” I asked in impatience and he seemed to freeze for a moment, his gaze narrowing at me. “That man from earlier… the handsome man I bumped into when you were being so loud… I need to see him. I remember everything now.” I added with a hint of happiness as I looked at this stranger for answers.
“You remember Cedric, but you don’t remember me?” He asked in confusion, his gaze dark as he stared at me, and I blinked.
“Who are you…?” I asked honestly and he looked at me in disbelief, unable to believe that I said something like that. “I really don't remember meeting someone like you…”
“What do you mean? I’m Klaus! Your husband!” He exclaimed in frustration and I blinked again, multiple times to be sure this “man” wasn't purposely messing with me.
“How could I be married? Are you joking? Are you a clown?” I asked with a soft chuckle but when he didn't laugh, my smile faded away immediately.
Before I could say another word, the door opened again and Dexter walked in, making my face light up. Behind him was Cedric and when he stared at me, my heart flew to my throat as I swooned.
When did he get so mature? Why did he look hotter than I remembered?
“You’re awake—”
I literally skipped past Dexter as I jumped into Cedric’s arms, clinging to him tightly with a bright smile on my face. He froze against me in disbelief but I nuzzled my face in his chest instead before pulling back to stare at him, and then I placed a soft kiss on his lips.
“I missed you so much, Ricky.” I whispered and he looked at me for a moment, disbelief written all over his face. “What’s with that look? I’m mad at you. How could you not come see me since I was admitted? And where’s mom and dad? How could you guys leave me all alone in the hospital?” I asked all at once and he still didn't say a word. He only stared at me in shock.
“Madison, what the hell are you doing with him? I’m your husband, get the hell over here.” That Klaus guy suddenly spoke and I turned to him with a glare, my arms wrapping around Cedric’s.
“What do you mean husband? Don’t you feel ashamed of making such comments to a minor?” I snapped, glaring at him and their gazes changed as they stared at me in confusion, even Cedric. “What?”
“Sunshine, come here.” Dexter said and my body moved before I could even process his words as I walked over to him. I couldn't blame myself because he was… quite the man.
And I had gotten very used to him for the last month, so of course he was important to me.
He checked my pulse points, then my eyes, and asked me a few random questions that had me confused, but I answered them anyway.
“Lastly, how old are you?” He finally asked, and I raised a brow, wondering why he was asking something he should already know.
“I’m nineteen. Why?” I replied with a blink and Klaus audibly gasped, making me frown. “What is going on?”
“Retrograde amnesia.” Dexter muttered with a sigh and I stared at him in confusion, waiting for an explanation.
“How long?” Cedric asked with his arms crossed and I could see Klaus glaring at him, even though he was completely ignored.
“About ten years ago, I suppose. She did regain her memories but they aren't complete. They stopped ten years ago.” Dexter explained but I was still confused even as they nodded in understanding.
“What do you mean—”
“Will she get it back? Her memories, I mean.” Klaus interrupted me and I huffed in annoyance, crossing my arms over my chest.
“Most likely. But I can't say when or how long it’ll take.” Dexter replied and I threw my hands in the air due to frustration.
“Can someone tell me what is going on? I am a theatre student, what the hell is retro-whatever amnesia? What is happening to me?” I asked in exasperation and Dexter was about to respond when Cedric extended his hand towards my direction.
Like an ant attracted to a lollipop, I nearly flew to him as I took his hand in mine.
I used to think I wasn't into Cedric and never reciprocated his feelings for me. But the night before I woke up here, I had dreamt that he kissed me. And it had felt so good that I looked forward to him actually kissing me for real.
And now that he was way different from before, oh, I was definitely into him now.
“What do you remember before you woke up here?” Cedric asked, his voice deeper than before and I swooned again. Klaus, once again, was glaring at us but I ignored him even though I noticed that Dexter seemed pretty annoyed.
“I dreamt of you.” I confessed and his eyes widened. “We kissed and I had been looking forward to us kissing since I remembered the dream.”
“What the fuck is this bullshit?” Klaus suddenly snapped and I flinched. “What fucking spell did you put on my wife, huh? Why is she infatuated with you all of a sudden? She was in love with me. Me!”
What the hell is he talking about…?
He was handsome but fucking stupid. What an asshole.
“Can you remember the date?” Cedric whispered to me and I frowned, my head hurting slightly just by thinking about it. “Or anything significant that happened?”
“Yes! It was our friendship anniversary!” I exclaimed and a look of realization crossed his face as he suddenly pulled me close, kissing my forehead.
My heart was beating so loud that I knew he could hear it. Oh Christ.
“Good job.” He whispered and even though I didn't understand why he said that, I smiled regardless. “You returned from the States a day after our friendship anniversary. That is why she doesn't remember you anymore.” He explained and Klaus pulled on his hair in annoyance.
“This is still bullshit—”
“Can you all leave? It’s time for Madison to rest.” Dexter suddenly said and I frowned because it definitely wasn't time for me to rest.
But they left anyway, how could they argue with the doctor?
“Darling.” He called out to me and my stomach flipped, making me feel embarrassed. “Do you know what is going on?”
“What is going on…? I don't understand either.” I confessed and he pulled me closer, wiping my forehead like he was wiping Cedric’s kiss away, making me frown.
“Those men are lying to you,” He said, and I froze. “Do you want to know the truth? Do you want to know how those men nearly killed you? How I saved you?”
What…?

Madison's POV I had no idea who Madison was or who I was. But the nurses called me that all the time so I got used to answering as Madison. The nurses were quite nice and patient with me, even when I cried because the pain was too much to handle.Physical therapy was awful. Apparently I had been in a coma for over three months which was why I couldn't move my muscles well, and also why I couldn't remember a thing.I didn't believe that, I could tell they were hiding things from me but I let it slide as I focused on getting better first. As long as I could use my muscles once again, I would find out who this Madison was.“Hi sweetheart.” I heard a now familiar voice mutter as he walked into my ward and my face lit up. “The nurses told me you did so well during today’s exercises.”Even though I barely remembered a thing, he showed up every day for the past two weeks, helping with my recovery. His face was the only familiar one I knew since I woke up, and I could get used to seeing his
Madison’s POVI didn't remember everything else that happened after that. But what I did remember was yelling at Klaus, telling him that I would not let him take my baby away from me. I could accept everything else, but not him taking the baby away after the divorce.I'd rather die.The nurses wheeled me to the operating room, and before one of them placed an anaesthesia mask over my face, I held her hand, making her jolt.“Don't let him take my baby away. Please.” She shrugged my hand off and placed the mask over my face, making everything turn black slowly as I fell into a long, dreamless sleep. I wanted to ask why they didn't let me give birth naturally. Why it had to be a surgery. But I couldn't move or talk.At first, silence and darkness were all that surrounded me. And then I started to hear the beeping sounds of machines surrounding me. And then, voices. Panicked and worried voices surrounded me and I started to panic too.“We’re losing her, we can’t save her. Her little hear
Madison’s POV My water just broke.A mortified expression reflected back at me when I stared at the mirror, water soaking the pretty pink dress I had just worn for my best friend’s birthday celebration. My baby was coming and it wasn't even the due date yet.A small wave of pain in my stomach had me wincing as I stumbled back to the bed, fumbling with the sheets as I tried to find my phone. Contractions hit next and I let out a soft cry as I gripped the headboard tightly.Breathe, Maddie. Sucking in sharp breaths wasn't helping at all but I managed to turn my phone on so that I could call my husband to get me to the hospital. The call disconnected after ringing a few times and I groaned, my eyes closing tight as I tried to bear with the pain. This just had to be the day I was alone at home with no one to help.Another wave of pain slammed into me and I cried out for help, collapsing against the wall as I dialed his number once again. “Pick up, Klaus, please.” I whispered, my voice
