chapter 16 - Michael and Beth
Michael POV
Daniel keeps pushing my buttons, and I am not pleased about this.
“I said no” - I let out, and Daniel looks at me. Dad crosses his arms in front of his chest and takes a deep breath.
“But you will be family”, - Daniel says
“That’s still to be seen”, - I say between greeted teeth.
“What did you say, boy?” - Daniel asks, and I shake my head.
My phone starts to vibrate in my pocket, and I pick it up. It's Logan, but I can’t answer right now. This asshole thinks he can manipulate every single aspect of my life, and I am getting tired of it.
I reject the call and focus my attention back on Daniel that is looking at me as if I was the enemy.
“Daniel, your nephew won’t work here, he will never work here, he will never have access to my business”, - I say
