Priscilla’s POV

Some hours later, I was already dressed, fixing my black top while Damon laid on the bed, lazily jerking himself off. Again.

“Babe,” he groaned, eyes fluttering shut for a second, “you sure you gotta go now? I’m still so hard.”

I rolled my eyes, grabbing my footwear. “You’re always hard, Damon.”

“And you’re the only one that can keep up,” he smirked, pumping himself slow like he was putting on a show. “You’re built different.”

I tossed my hair over my shoulder, already halfway to the door. “I won’t be long,” I said sweetly, blowing him a kiss. “Try not to come without me.”

“Not making any promises,” he called after me as I shut the door.

I practically skipped down the hall, high on sex, and the anticipation of what I was about to do. I was glowing.

Selena. The untouchable bitch with a sex doll molded after Kaid’s dick.

I got to her door and found it slightly open. Hmm. Suspicious.

Interesting.

I knocked once. Then pushed it open. Empty.

I frowned and stepped

  • The Apex's hidden mate   Leaped for joy

Selena’s POV She just came at the fucking wrong time. Good thing she didn’t hear the conversation between me and my father. If she had, she’d probably be dead by now. Sometimes, I wonder if that man is even my real father. The way he talks to me like I’m a project that’s beginning to fail quality control. Yes, I’m his heir. His precious little legacy. He never shuts up about it when people are around. Brags like I’m his greatest invention. But behind closed doors? All I get is criticism, expectations and disappointment that are served raw and bitter. How the hell does he expect me to control what everyone is doing? I’m not God. I’m not a mind reader. I can’t babysit every idiot that signs under our name. But no—if anything goes wrong, it’s always me. Always my failure. Like I’m the one who personally handed Eliza a fucking bomb and said, “Go wild.” I am so pissed, and Priscilla brought herself for me to lay all of my anger on. She made herself a target, and I needed one. This

  • The Apex's hidden mate   This is good news

Priscilla’s POV At the secret facility of the shadow pack.I was on my bed, phone in hand, legs crossed, thumb scrolling like it was the only thing keeping me sane. My eyes were burning from staring too long, but I didn’t stop. I was searching for something. Any dirty scandal about Selena. But of course, there was nothing. What the hell was I expecting? She’s the perfect heiress, after all. The world sees her as untouchable. The walking, breathing version of money, power, and pedigree. Even if that ice queen murdered a baby on live TV, her father would bury it so deep even the goddess wouldn’t find it. I sneered, tossing my phone on the bed beside me. It wasn’t just hatred I felt for her, it was envy. Disgusting, aching envy. She had everything. A last name that made the world open its legs. A future no one could touch. And me? I didn’t even know who the fuck my parents were. I was born in chains. Grew up being used like I was some ragdoll for both rich and old twisted men w

  • The Apex's hidden mate   I have Aria’s resolve

Eliza’s POV My tech outfit was the only reason I wasn’t a splattered corpse in the courtyard right now. I felt the pulse shot rip through me before the wall gave way. Everything hurts. Just because the suit absorbed the impact didn’t mean I couldn’t feel pain. My ribs were screaming, my back throbbed like someone took a hammer to it, and my right arm felt like it had been chewed on by gravity itself. I could already feel the nanotech in the lining buzzing quietly under my skin, working overtime to patch me up. Good suit. I really should give her a name. The red sirens shrieked across the compound, casting red glows across everything like a damn crime scene. Which, to be fair, it was. I pushed myself up slowly, breath ragged, brain still catching up with what just happened. Sheila. She fired that weapon like she wanted me dead. That fired energy nearly cracked my bones. It took out a wall and launched me across two floors like I weighed nothing. Since when did Sheila kn

  • The Apex's hidden mate   Hate them

Sheila’s POV This… this isn’t what I was expecting. One minute, I was waiting for that cocky bastard to finish in the restroom so we could hook up and the next, he’s groaning on the floor like a kicked puppy, clutching his ribs and crying about a brat who took him down. And the brat? Of all people… it’s Eliza. Eliza. The genius. The freak. The one who always thinks she’s better than everyone else because she’s smart and knows how to break codes and build weapons. She took my place as Aria’s best friend. Or… used to. How did she even get into this estate? This is a high-security compound. Our walls are lined with motion sensors, our surveillance is top-tier, and the entire place is crawling with elite guards. Yet there she was, standing there like some damn ghost. Looking at me with those wide, shocked eyes like I was the one out of place. “Sheila?” she breathed. I narrowed my eyes, clenching my fists even as my pulse thundered in my ears. “What the hell are you doing here?”

  • The Apex's hidden mate   The traitor

Eliza’s POV I’ve been crawling through these vents for two days straight. Two. Whole. Days. My muscles ache from the awkward positions, and my neck is killing me from the constant low hunch. But at least my skin is intact. The sleek black tech outfit I’m wearing covers every inch of my body except my head. It was breathable and friction-resistant. It’s doing its job. There were no injuries. Just sweat, fatigue, and the constant taste of recycled air. If anyone had told me that I’d be living like a human rat inside the ventilation system of a sadistic estate owned by power-drunk psychos, I’d have laughed in their face. But here I am. It’s a good thing Ryker helped me escape. He didn’t have to—hell, he probably wasn’t even sure I’d make it out. But he did it anyway. They believe I’ll find a way to get them out of wherever the hell they’re locked up. And I will. Because I’m Eliza. How ever Heroes say it or whatever. I’ve been mapping the layout in my head, noting guard patterns
