I looked straight in the eyes of my opponent, two golden yellow gems stared back at me. We were both waiting for the first one to attack, analyzing each other's movements. I stood tall not losing eye contacts, making her see that I was the dominant one.

With a step on my right, an ear piercing growl escaped shattering my ears. I swallowed down a stubborn lump on my throat that wouldn't go away. I kept my stance showing no fear for I knew she could smell it, like a perfume that lingers in the air. Fighting a human with or without weapon was something but fighting a rabid hungry lion with bare hands was another thing.
