Chapter 56: Minor Grievances

Tony opened his eyes and blinked a few times. The first thing he registered was the soreness in his arm. He tried to move it, but he felt that Dillon had laid his head on it. They had fallen asleep together with Dillon's head on his chest. It was something they only did when one needed assurance. It wasn't that they didn't enjoy it, they were just generally more comfortable when they had space. Despite the space in between them, they always had a point of contact. Whether it be a hand or a foot, wrist or ankle, it didn't matter. They always touched.

Another reason that they didn't often lie together was because of Dillon's aptness to roll over onto him. Tony had dealt with it all. Sometimes he'd roll over and they'd smack foreheads or he would get an elbow to the ribs. There was one time he'd pushed Tony closer to the edge gradually though the night and he fell out of bed.
