"No, no, Akira! Please, don't do this!" I'm begging you. "NO!"

I jolted up, breathing heavily because of my dream. I looked around first, and I was still in my room. I sighed. I really don't know what to do. When I looked at my hand, it was shaking. I took a deep breath and held my head. 

Damn, that dream again. When will I ever have time to fall asleep without that nightmare?

I guess there will be no day such as that.

I looked at the door and saw it slowly open and a head pop up.

"Did you have another nightmare?" he asked me, walking towards me, worried. 

I nodded, and he sat next to me. "Kenji, when will it leave me alone?" I asked. 

I felt so tortured whenever I woke up from that nightmare. I don't want to have it. It wasn't my fault, but it is haunting me.

It's been five years since the worst event in my life happened. I've been seeing a psychiatrist for three years, as my friends suggested, and I did all I could to do what I was told, but there's still no effect. 

Kenji is one of my friends, and the day we met, I was so broke. It was when I left home without a single penny in my pocket. He took me in and befriended me, even though he doesn't know who I am. Since then, I have always wanted to protect him. It may look like I protected him, but the truth is, he is the one who has always protected me. He and the other omega are in my circle. 

"Because you couldn't let it go. You're still feeling guilty about what happened that day," Kenji answered immediately. "Let it go, Haru. If you still insist on holding that guilt in your heart, you will never find yourself happy," he advised. 

I bit my lip because of what he said. I know. I know that, but I just can't let that thing go. It will hunt me whenever I try to escape or let it go. 

"You know..." I looked at Kenji when he spoke. "Before I met Ryo, it was really hard. I was running away," he added. He looked at me and smiled. "But you know? When I embraced the part of me being a recessive omega, it was only then that I found out that there were many people who supported me, and... I really admire you, Haru."

"Are you joking, Kenji? I am weak and pathetic. So how come you admire me?" I said sarcastically. 

"You're strong, Haru. You really are. Those people who had traumatic experiences were all strong. I was depressed when I was in high school; I even denied that I am an omega. But you? You fought with it alone, and even though you are at the end of the rope, you still hang on. That's why I admire you." He smiled at me. "You're strong, and you're not alone."

His words make me feel like I really am a brave one. 

I just smiled at him and looked at the side table, and then I stood up. I have work right now, and thanks to Kenji and his Alpha-Ryo, I can finally find a decent job, even though I'm only a high school graduate. 

"Ah, where are Ryo and Hachiro?" I asked when we got out of my room in their mansion. 

I currently live in a mansion with Kenji and Ryosuke, who helped me find a sane job. When I don't have school, I help them both take care of Hachiro, their two-year-old son. 

"They went home," Kenji answered immediately, and he sat down at the dining table. 

I immediately started moving to make breakfast for the two of us. Kenji and I are both male omegas; the only difference is that he has a mate and I don't. It didn't even come to mind to have a mate because of the past that I had. 

"Can you come home early later?" Kenji asked me as I placed the plate with fried rice, eggs, and bacon in front of him. 

I shrugged my shoulders, and then I put the plate on the table in front of me and sat down. "I don't know; it depends. You know, today is my first day at work," I immediately answered. 

"Great. I'll just tell your supervisor. Rayle, Aoi, Daisuke, and Kasumi will come later. The whole circle must be present." Kenji took a bite of a spoonful of fried rice. 

I just nodded because I knew that Kenji would take care of it so I could leave work later. While eating, we talked about what we would do later in the get-together of the five of us. 

In the circle created by Kenji, there are only five members. Kenji, me, and Aio, who is our cousin along with Kenji, Rayle, and Kasumi. And, oh, Daisuke was just recently added to the group. He was saved by Aoi during his secret mission. Kenji's circle is different because we all don't socialize much with other omegas. It was because they are only after wealth, or maybe some alphas will go after us. It's a hassle for us. Kenji doesn't like being taken advantage of; that's why he doesn't just become friends with anyone, and when he notices that it's too much, he, without a word, immediately avoids it. 

Kenji immediately said goodbye when he finished eating, and I immediately washed up what we ate because it was still early in the morning. Maybe that's why Kenji left to tell me about our key's omega circle getting together. Since Ryo became Kenji's wife, Aoi and Takeru's relationship has been good, and now that they are getting married, we don't have much time for the circle. Especially since Kenji and Ryo have a child, and soon Aoi and Takeru will too. 

When I finished washing, I immediately got ready and went to work to report. I will be working in a hotel as a bellboy, and since I am an omega, I cannot be an inner staff member to serve inside the rooms. 

After talking to my supervisor, who is also an omega, I started working. My shift isn't that heavy, but it's not hectic either. It was because there were a lot of people checking in at the hotel. I welcome those guests, put their languages in the bellman's cart, and as we go to their hotel room, I tell them what they should know, such as hotel facilities. 

If you look at it, it seems like the job is easy, but the truth is that it's very tiring, and I don't even know how I managed to smile, even though sometimes I get cursed and degraded. Maybe because my supervisor said that you should always put a smile on your face in front of the guest so that you don't get into trouble, and even if there is a problem, you should just stay calm. 

When my shift ended, I immediately went to the locker room, and there were many hotel staff changing there. Most of them are betas. 

"Aren't you new too?" asked a man who entered the hotel at the same time as me and approached me smiling. I nodded in response. "You're coming to the dinner party, aren't you?" he asked happily. 

I shook my head. "No, I'm sorry. I have something to do."

I immediately turned pale when I heard a man's tongue click behind me. 

"Are you sure?" he said. 

"Sorry…"

The beta man, who looked annoyed with me, was about to speak, but someone suddenly spoke and called him. "Haru?"

I turned to the

person who called for food, and I immediately stood up properly. 

"Sir..."
