Chapter 74.5: Deities' Idle Time
A MINI THEATER
Setting: At the simple garden of the Hevel Residence, the three masters of the house gathered for a simple tea session. It was a sunny afternoon, the exact time was 3:14 pm, the movement of the rays of sun that passed through the gaps of the leaves of the tall trees surrounding the bungalow were so beautiful to watch against the natural backdrop of green and brown. It was the perfect place and time for relaxation.
Scene: Three deities talking amongst each other about Ley's most recent discovery.
Ley: I have just tested it and I found that Anitos, even us who ascended in an unnatural way, could really hear the pleas and prayers of people.
Hana: It's cool.
Ley: I know. If my guess is correct, we only hear two types of prayers. Prayers directly mentioning us, or prayers under the scope of, or related to our Gift.
Fernando: Oh. Interesting? How is it then? I couldn't try it because my believers are animals.

The Ascension Chapter 77: The Witch's Words
...An hour after their return to the capital, when the cloud was blocking the moonlight from gracing a particular house. "What does an esteemed Anito of the Land need from a humble old witch like me?" Suspicious eyes cast themselves on a youth who looked like a regular human. The witch was dressed in a dark-brown, blackish overall, her figure appeared especially ominous at a backdrop of darkness that was only illuminated by a single flickering blue light. However, the wariness that her wrinkled contours displayed lessened the eeriness that was supposed to come from her. A witch who usually frightened even fierce creatures of the dark stood in the middle of her own humble wooden abode, alertly looking at Ley whose aura intimidated her and the dark powers inside her. The cold night passed. A day later, the entire Hevel Residence returned to their usual routine, as if nothing had broken their streak of peaceful days. The servants though could feel the tense atmosphere that slowly taken over the residence.
