It seemed that traveling brought the worst out of Richmond. His hair was a mess from the number of times he'd run his hands through it and I'd lost count of the number of cigarettes he'd smoked in the last hour.

Our flight was delayed and we had to wait two hours before we could leave. Brandon had done his best to try an calm his uncle but Richmond didn't want to hear it. He was on multiple phone calls at a time, going back and forth between talking with the staff in Paris and calling in with the airport staff to ask for a new pilot. This was a new side of Richmond id never seen, stressed and utterly confused. I couldn't decide whether to feel sorry for him or revel in his current state.

Brandon sighed, getting off a phone call with the hotel manager in Paris. "I've never been more than happy to be just a lowly assistant than i have been right now. " I joked.

He laughed, pocketing his phone. "And I've never been more jealous of someone's job."

I shrugged. "You can only dream." I
