Lizelle’s Point of View

*Ding dong*

I wiped the sweat from my forehead when the doorbell rang again. I cleaned the room because Tyron bought me the successive influx of things. I wandered my eyes around. The utensils in my condominium are complete. I also have a closet, plates, and other cooking utensils. He also sent me a refrigerator. It’s a good thing the condominium is enormous.

When I opened the door, I saw the men wearing orange uniforms as they brought the items once more. I lifted my one brow and peered behind me; nothing was no longer missing in this room, so why were they back? The first man in orange bowed before he gave me a piece of paper to sign again.

“Good evening, Miss Luna. Sorry about coming late. We went in the evening because Mr. Tyron requested it late. Just sign this so we may enter and set the sofa to where you want it.” He had already given me the paper and the pen and I read what was written first.

Luna?

The reason for writing is to inform you of the receiving (Classic sofa Cabriole). It is to notify you that I acknowledge the receiving of goods from your company. The number and quality of (Cabriole) have been checked. The slip and invoice also have been studied.

Luna Clemonte.

With a shocked expression, I looked at the man as if I’m expecting an explanation from him. Why is the last name different here?

“Is there something wrong, ma’am?”

“Are you certain they were sent by Tyron?”

The man pulled a piece of paper from his back pocket, opened it, and handed it to me. Some names have been examined, and Tyron’s name is the final one. I even read it all through to be sure it was right.

“Does the item have an issue?”

I shook my head, signed the paper, and allowed them to leave.

After they left, I quickly searched for my phone in the room and initialized the only number saved in the contacts. In just one ring, Tyron answered.

“Have you gotten the products I shipped to you?” He asked, but I instantly removed the phone from my ear due to the loud music playing in the background.

Is he in the bar?

When I didn’t respond, the sounds in his background faded gradually.

"Sorry 'bout that? What's the matter?"

Last night, I thought he was going to do something to me. I couldn't move at his last words because I'd never been touched by any man or kissed, so I was scared when he ordered me to kiss him.

I must have been lucky because he seemed to see that I wasn't ready.

I heard a few sounds in the background, such as people chatting, but they immediately disappeared. Perhaps it's only people passing by.

I know that sooner or later, I will have to do what he wants because our conversation about my revenge may be void if I don't obey him.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

I snapped back at myself as I heard his cold voice again. I cleared my throat first then, I replied. “About my name. When did my name change? And there’s nothing in our discussion that I’ll change my name?”

There is a bit of a pang in my heart because I couldn’t imagine that I would change my last name. I carried it for many years, and that’s all I have to maintain my pride as Smith.

“You said you wanted revenge.”

“But we didn’t discuss that I would change my name.”

“You agreed for me to plan everything. You can’t take revenge when you carry all your pasts. Don’t be delusional. I can risk my name for you, but not in a way that makes me very noticeable. How can I help you if you don’t help yourself? Be realistic, what will they say when they find out you are going into the company of the person who became a suspect in your parent’s death?” Even though his voice was serious, he still didn’t raise his tone. He sighed as if irritated by what I said, but I thought of the suspect he said. I didn’t know there was a suspect in my parent’s death.

“What do you mean? No one said there was a suspect in my parent’s death.”

“I’ll explain everything to you next week. Also, because of what happened at the auction, all your photos are scattered. Now, it’s up to you how to handle that. You won’t progress and can take revenge if you remain the way you look.” As he spoke, I heard the car door open and close.

He started his car before he continued. “It’s either you’re not going to take revenge or you’re going to change your physical features. Not entirely, just enough so you don’t recognize. That’s our first plan; not anyone recognizes you.”

I remained silent because I didn't know what to say or how to react. I had not considered the ideas this man recommended. I figured I'd take my revenge, and that's it. It didn't cross my mind that he had so many plans. I couldn't picture myself changing my looks or last name.

"What will I do?" My hands shook with emotion. My heart pounded many times. What if I look like someone else? What if, at first, it seemed perfect, but in the end, my face would be ruined? When I was young, they wanted the beauty I had: long black hair, blue eyes, sharp nose, and kissable lips.

"Ahm...I don't intend to brag, but everything is already perfect on my face."

“I couldn’t agree more.”

Because of what he said, the heat quickly enveloped my face. My throat felt dry, but I couldn't believe what I told him next.

"Then... I'm beautiful?"

I thought he would agree, but I pout to his answer.

"Nonsense."

“Tss! What do you plan to do to my face then? If I became MORE ugly, I’ll kill you.”

“Don’t worry, I know plastic surgeons; they’re all experts, and if something goes wrong with your body or face, they’ll be to blame.” He was deafeningly quiet when he finished speaking. My heart eventually slowed down when he said that. The anxiety has vanished.

“Ok.”

I was about to end the call when I suddenly stopped because of his following words, which became why I felt like I was going to pass because my heart was thumping so hard.

"You're gorgeous. Beautiful is too common. Gorgeous is way better to describe you because you're stunning and captivating."

Lorenzo did not complain about my offer to him. The construction workers arrived just a few days ago and even exceeded what I expected to come. I didn’t know that he would take seriously what I said that needs to be made easier because it is better to teach people who want to study earlier. But I think it’s also good that he dug into what he worked for because of the 20+ he took to haul the equipment. They didn’t have a hard time. I was right when I said that they could not enter the vehicles because it was too muddy. The mixer truck also did not enter, so they were mixing the cement manually.Somehow there is a beginning even though they have only been here four days since they came here. As I watched all the cement, the worker’s Lorenzo stood beside me. I was wearing an orange dress and white shoes. When the strong wind passed through my face, my hair ruffled, so I put the sharpened hair back behind my ear. I saw him seriously staring at my face, but I didn’t pay attention to him. T

  • The Auction's Piece: Sold to Him    Chapter 34: I can be your girlfriend

“What are you doing here?” When I was at the door, that was immediately what Lorenzo asked me. Maybe he saw my crazy laugh. Maybe hundreds of questions were going through his brain as to why I was laughing alone in this cabin, even though there was no one here except for me.“Why did you follow me?” I did not answer the question, but I answered with the question as well. I lost my enthusiasm for this plan. All the excitement I poured out vanished like a bubble. I didn’t look at him and still walked, even though he was blocking. As I approached the stairs to put on my slippers again, he grabbed my hand. No one answered our questions for each other.“You haven’t explained yet. I didn’t ask you why you weren’t ready to be my girlfriend even though you also showed that you like me.” His eyes were full of questions and he was ready to ask the next questions again, but I knew he was keeping himself from getting angry. No matter what he does, he will never get an answer from me, especially s

My jaws were left open with what he said. I was still in the revenge phase while he was already flirting. Take note: he is already asking for an answer. His question stunned me; I didn’t know what to answer. How can I tell him I’m not ready yet? That was my only remaining reason for answering his question. Can he just ask something else?“Y-you know, Lorenzo, I’m not ready for those things yet. And that’s not what we went for here, is it?” I hesitated to take his hand away from me and then smiled awkwardly. I didn’t want to offend him, but because he suddenly asked, I wasn’t feeling good. I’ll just assume I haven’t heard that.I left him there because his jaw stiffened. I’m hoping they complete what they’re going to do soon because I want us to leave here and I’m starting to feel uncomfortable with him again. I thought I’d feel better every time I saw him, but it was just momentary since he was acting the same way he had previously. Even though we don’t have a label, he becomes strict

  • The Auction's Piece: Sold to Him    Chapter 32: Answer me for courting you

I’m not sure when I fell asleep following what occurred to Adonis and me. I’d want to check the time, but I can’t find the clock. I attempted to rise, but I couldn’t because of the discomfort in my lower body. I suppose this proves that what happened last night was not a hoax. My body has begun to relax. When I checked around the little cabin, I couldn’t see Tyron. Is that all there is? I’m at a loss for words. It felt as though salt was being sprinkled over a new wound that had just been opened. The door opened just as I was ready to get up and leave because I felt he had abandoned me. It sounded loud as if the opening had shattered it. My heart skipped a beat because of what someone did when he came in, but it quickly calmed down when I saw him...He had fresh coconut juice and food on the plate. Those are, once again, veggies. Cole fed me fish daily, as if I had always wanted to eat anything. I’m thinking of eating worms. It felt as though the flavor of fish had been lodged in my to

  • The Auction's Piece: Sold to Him    Chapter 31: I squirt

“Hmm ... Haaa.”I catch my breath as I continue to keep my hands wrapped around Tyron's neck. My head and body are fully poisoned since they are already being taken away by his kisses and caresses. One of his legs is now in the center of my thigh, attempting to split my thighs while my two hands are elevated. As if there is no tomorrow, our mouths are blades. His every motion and breath is scorching, adding to the fire in my body.We can’t hear the rain since Tyron's cabin’s roof isn’t composed of galvanized iron. Thunder is the only sound that can be heard. Because we are already on the brink of the water, its roar is audible. It’s frightening to think that something horrible may happen to us while we’re here, since the sea will rise in response to the power of the rain.“Why are you such in a hurry?” I yanked him away from me, but he didn’t let go and turned my neck. He muttered there, which contributed to the sensation of what we were doing. Outside, I’m sure it was already dark. I

  • The Auction's Piece: Sold to Him    Chapter 30: Save my heart

“Is everything all right?” I am now sitting outside while listing the names of children and older students. We are now at the long table as the six of us sit. I didn’t make a mistake and we will indeed be overwhelmed because even the other barrio has already registered. The volunteers have arrived.“Arturo Mendez and Arturo Mendez Jr., Miss. ”I wrote the name of the student; they are father and son. It’s good that somehow they don’t want to forget to study and they persevere. Even though my purpose here is different, the people here are also my priority.“Tyron.”That’s what the man next to the man said earlier. I looked up and glanced at Tyron. This man is very stubborn. He doesn’t even know how to listen to what I’m saying. I also did nothing but put his name. I don’t want to argue with him now because someone else will notice us.Ever since he told me about the ring, he has only become more and more clingy. I don’t know if he’s sweet sometimes or he just acts like that. Sometimes
