Adrian's POV continues

"Mother..." I knew where Mother was going with this and the earlier I stopped this but she waved me sternly.

"I won't warn you again! I'm having a conversation with my daughter. So tell me Ariel would you do that for your mother?"

Ariel looked lost, flabbergasted, and puzzled. "I do-n't kn-ow what to say." Her hands trembled in mother's hands.

"Tell me what you think and if you can't it's fine." Mother had that pitiable look that would make anyone concede to her demands in an instant.

"Yes, I agree." Ariel nods.

"What about you Adrian?"

"I agree! Ariel and I will have a baby and get married." I chipped in before things went the wrong way. We are far into this and we might go all in as well. Couples divorce every day and the world no longer bats an eye.

"Yes, Mother I'll fill this Mansion with children and promise to be by his side till eternity," Ariel vows and wipes her palm on mother's cheek cleaning the tears.
