My favourite memories

"So do you think we should start the conversation now?" he asked.

"No, not now. Let's just enjoy the drive. I'm tired of talking all the time anyways."

"Yeah, I guess."

I giggled when he muttered that under his breath. I couldn't help but remember the night we spent in the diner. That was definitely one of my favourite memories of the two of us. At first, he hadn't really understood why we were doing it and had thought I was drunk.

But when I told him why we were doing it, he became instantly understanding. I think he enjoyed it even more than I did. He had never liked drinking, so being forced to drink was quite unpleasant for him.

I couldn't believe he had actually agreed to do it. We ended up getting along so well that we ended up having more fun than we expected. I had even convinced him to dance with me once! Although, that was only after we had gotten drunk together.
